On the list of the 46th President of the United State's final pardons included brother James Biden and his wife Sara Jones Biden, sister Valerie Biden Owens and her spouse John T. Owens as well as his other brother Francis W. Biden. As Bravoholics might remember, King Edmonds was briefly married to Cuffe Biden Owens, Biden's nephew and son of Valerie and John.
"My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me—the worst kind of partisan politics," Biden said in an official statement released by the White House. "Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe these attacks will end."
The 82-year-old continued, "I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety and financial security of targeted individuals and their families. Even when individuals have done nothing wrong and will ultimately be exonerated, the mere fact of being investigated or prosecuted can irreparably damage their reputations and finances."
So, Biden protected his family in the wake of a new administration.
"That is why I am exercising my power under the Constitution to pardon James B. Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John T. Owens and Francis W. Biden," the Democratic leader added. "The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that they engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense."

Back in October 2021, King Edmonds and the L.A.-based lawyer tied the knot after just three weeks of dating. However, the couple's connection quickly faded and they broke up just two months following the wedding.
“I didn’t wanna rush into it at all. It was not me. That was all him,” the reality star—who shares daughter Aspen, 8, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 6 with ex-husband Jim Edmonds—told Us Weeklyin 2022 of the failed whirlwind romance. “I never even wanted to get married again, but, I have such a big heart and I just want my partner to be happy and I know what it’s like to go into a relationship that already has a family. Like, I have three kids. I did that with my ex-husband. Jimmy had four kids when I went into that family. So I know what it feels like to want to be a part of that unit.”

And despite their relationship fizzling, the former Housewife only holds fond memories and the Bidens.
"His family’s wonderful," she noted. "I don’t have a bad thing to say about the Bidens at all. They were so warm and normal and welcoming. And they felt like family.”
