The developer has been quite diligent about releasing new content for the multiplayer modes, and the ranked seasons are a fun way to put yourself up against other real world players, to see who is the best trainer in the land. To help you on your journey, you'll need every item you can get, and there are some available that shouldn't require much effort, particularly if you have already beaten the game.
As first accumulated by GamesRadar+, there are codes you can use to obtain free items in Pokémon Legends Z-A, as well as some alternate methods of obtaining Mystery Gifts via filling relatively simple requirements. The full list of active bonuses available right now is as follows:

It's well worth keeping an eye out for new Pokémon Legends Z-A codes as and when they appear, as Game Freak do rotate what's on offer with regularity. There are also plenty of rewards to pick up for climbing the ranked ladder, so it's best to get out there and start battling other trainers.
Other than that, it's going to be a case of sitting tight and waiting to hear more about the upcoming tenth generation for Pokémon fans. It could be very different from anything we have seen previously, particularly given what we know about the setting in Winds and Waves.
