EXCLUSIVE: PMK Entertainment has hired communications executive Leah Sparkes as VP of Television, Film and Premium Content. In addition, former WME communications executive Ulisses Rivera is joining PMK as Senior Account Director within its Strategic Communications Group.
Sparkes counts more than 20 years of experience leading entertainment publicity and brand campaigns with senior posts at NBCUniversal, Harpo Studios, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and WE tv. Sparkes is also the founder of Sparkes PR. She will be based in Los Angeles and report to SVP Cristina Parvu in New York.

Rivera has 13 years-plus experience in corporate and entertainment comms, including roles at WME, A3 Artists Agency, Sunshine Sachs, and SAG-AFTRA. At WME, Rivera led strategic communications across the firm’s entertainment divisions and the agency’s film sales and financing arm, WME Independent.
