NRL WAG reveals she and her husband pay for two separate hotel rooms when they go on holiday because they never sleep together

NRL WAG Zoe Marshall has shared more details about her very unique sleeping arrangements with her husband, West Tigers coach Benji Marshall. 

Several years ago the 42-year-old shocked her fans when she revealed that the couple, who have been married for 13 years, slept in separate bedrooms.

Now Zoe has admitted that also extends to holidays, explaining that the pair shell out thousands of dollars for separate hotel rooms.

The mother-of-two made the revelation during an Instagram Q&A while talking about her family and home life.

She also revealed she had no idea that Benji was an NRL star when the couple met in Kings Cross almost two decades ago, and if she did she would never have dated him.

The couple went on to tie the knot in 2013 and appear to have a strong and happy marriage.

Zoe spoke in depth about sleeping in separate rooms during a radio interview in 2018, saying it was the trick to keep their romance red hot.

The radio host was taken aback by the WAG's pronouncement, believing that she and Benji only slept apart while she was pregnant with her son Fox.

'No, it's been about six years (that) we haven't slept in the same room,' Zoe declared.

'It started with him having sleep apnea and then I just got really comfortable with having my own space. My room's lovely and I've got the main master bedroom and he's got the little side bedroom,' she giggled.

She then declared: 'It makes for a perfect marriage'.

The conversation didn't end there, with the inquisitive host asking where the couple have 'fun time'.

'It's always mine (her bedroom),' Zoe quickly replied, adding it's because she has 'clean sheets'.

The host then inquired whether the pair miss cuddling up with one another.

'We do all that and then he tiptoes out,' the beauty cackled.

Zoe and Benji walked down the aisle for a second time in 2023 when they renewed their vows surrounded by family and friends.

While she was pregnant with their daughter Ever, Zoe admitted the couple had split up three times before tying the knot in 2013.

The family recently moved into a new $4.75million family home in Sydney.

Benji began his NRL career in 2003 and retired as a player in 2021.

In 2024 he became the coach of his former team the Wests Tigers.
