Nepo baby Ella Stiller revealed that her famous parents Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor had been shocked when she landed a major role in the new CBS dramedy Cupertino.

The 24-year-old actress, who notably graduated with an acting degree from the Juilliard School, reflected on the moment while attending the NYC premiere of the forthcoming series late last month.

The 20-episode legal drama, also starring Mike Colter and Rachel Keller, is set to premiere on the network on October 8.

'I told them I got the part. Both were like, "Twenty episodes?" There was a little bit of an "Eff you, are you kidding?"' Ella said, per TV Insider.

'This is sort of uncharted territory for them. Neither of them have ever done a procedural.'

While her parents had been initially stunned by the casting news, Ella added that they have been 'so supportive' of her.

'But, yeah, this is just sort of like its own thing, and it's been its own thing, and it's very, very exciting in that way.'

Ella continued, 'And I think they're so proud and happy and excited for that reason, too.'

In regards to being a part of the new CBS series, the star stated that it has been 'the craziest, most amazing experience of my life so far.'

During a conversation with Bustle in April, the actress shared whether there was any advice that her parents gave her as she follows in their entertainment footsteps.

'I don't think I was ever given advice, but I had a front-row seat to see how much energy and preparation go into just a single day of work,' she told the outlet.

Ella also got candid about the close bond that she shares with Stiller and Taylor amid her own acting career.

'It's only deepened, because it's just another thing to connect on, to be able to talk about and to relate to on a deeper level,' she told People last year.

The media personality also called their strong relationship 'really meaningful.'

'My parents were at every single show I did at Juilliard,' Ella said. 'They understand how hard it is and the joy that comes with it.'
