Over the past few years, Netflix has made a concerted effort to bring some of the best anime series ever to their platform, and they've done an amazing job. While their subtitling system needs a major overhaul, they deserve credit for their amazing anime catalog, including a few exclusives that can only be seen on their streaming service.

Notably, Netflix has most, if not all, of the best martial arts anime around. They were missing one major addition, and as of March 2nd, they will finally add Wind Breaker to their platform. In just a few years, Wind Breaker has cemented itself as a must-watch series for anyone who likes good-old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat, and now, it's finally coming to Netflix.

Netflix Has a Few Amazing Martial Arts Anime Series, and Now...

There aren't many martial arts anime series worthy of the top-tier, but of the few that exist, Netflix has them all. It's an amazing platform for anyone who wants to see the best martial arts anime of all time, including Baki, Kengan Ashura, and more.

It's hard to pull off a good martial arts anime without dipping into the supernatural. Series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell's Paradise, and even the original Naruto series can be considered martial arts series, but they don't have the gripping realism of series like Hajime no Ippo.

Wind Breaker falls into the realism category perfectly, mixing amazing hand-to-hand combat with a solid narrative that never gets old.

...They Have One of the Best Currently Airing

Wind Breaker is already in the top-tier of martial arts anime, and when it's over, it'll be known as one of the most exciting shōnen series of the modern era. The series stars Haruka Sakura, a first-year high schooler who attends Furin High School, a school known for having some of the strongest fighters around in attendance.

He quickly rises up the ranks at his school, becoming the First-Year Grade Captain and one of the most important people on Bofurin. He leads his fellow first-years into battle, and Sakura is the kind of captain who always leads from the front.

Wind Breaker is an amazing anime series that boasts some of the best fights in anime. There's little to not fat on this series, and there isn't a single moment that feels skippable. It's a thrill ride from the very first episode, and Netflix has done a great job of bringing such a great series to its platform.
