Netflix has a vast selection of TV shows for subscribers to get lost in, but out of all the choices on the streaming service, this 5-season thriller series easily emerges as one of its best. The thriller genre is a popular one for Netflix, with some of the best Netflix shows, such as The Night Agent, being thriller series.

That said, the streaming service offers a nice variety to subscribers, with the best Netflix shows to watch every week changing as the year goes along. However, some Netflix Original series always remain as perfect shows for new viewers to check out or for rewatching, and out of the whole catalog, this psychological thriller series comes in close to the top of the list.

Any Season Of Netflix's You Makes For The Perfect Binge

You is one of the best series on Netflix. While it was originally a Lifetime TV show, from season 2 to season 5, the series was a Netflix Original, quickly becoming one of the most popular shows on the streaming service. While the seasons may vary in quality, You has never had a bad season, as critics prove.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the critics' scores for You seasons 1 through 5 are: 94%, 89%, 93%, 92%, and 79%. Every season of the Netflix series is bingeworthy, with a succession of plot twists, shocking deaths, and character beats that make it one of Netflix's most addictive shows to date. One of You's most exciting aspects is how the show reinvents itself every season.

Every Season Of Netflix's You, Ranked

The fifth season of Netflix’s You may not be its strongest, but it’s a welcome reminder of how just entertaining this show can be at its best.

You season 1 does a solid job of setting up the world, elements that will be used until the show's final season, such as Joe's glass cage, and who Penn Badgley's character is as a person. Season 2 takes place in Los Angeles with Love Quinn's debut. Season 3 takes the action to the suburbs of Madre Linda with two serial killers.

Season 4 travels overseas to England with Joe donning a new identity, and season 5 is a throwback to where it all began in New York City, but with Joe Goldberg now having a completely different life situation. Every season of You is unique, with the stakes always high and the death toll at the same level.

You's Unique Psychological Thriller Approach And Cast Make It One Of Netflix's Best

Aside from how different one season of You is from the other, what also makes the psychological thriller series one of Netflix's best TV shows is its cast. Badgley is magnetic as Joe Goldberg, with You offering unique insight into the serial killer's mind as Joe's internal monologue allows viewers to always know exactly what he is thinking and see Joe's distorted view of the world first-hand.

Joining him is a revolving door of all-around talented stars like Elizabeth Lail, Victoria Pedretti, Jenna Ortega, Tati Gabrielle, John Stamos, Robin Lord Taylor, and many more. The cast brings its A-game, with Pedretti specifically emerging as You's second most beloved character as Love Quinn, the perfect foil to Badgley's Joe. You is simply an unmissable, bingeworthy series among Netflix's best.
