Marvel is coming in hot with one of the biggest costume upgrades of 2026 for an iconic Avenger. The new look is not only serious eye candy, but also signals the start of what could be a brutal new era for the hero.
Marvel has officially released a preview for writer Jed MacKay and artist Dev Pramanik’s Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2, set to arrive on March 18, 2026. The issue picks up directly where the last left off, putting Marc Spector’s new 2026 look fully on display.
Readers of the last issue will remember that Moon Knight once again dons his white mask while ditching a shirt altogether, and that bold choice is showcased even more prominently in the preview for issue #2. Thanks to this preview, we can say with full certainty that we're completely on board with a shirtless Marc Spector.

Moon Knight Enters His Most Feral Era in 2026
Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 Releases on March 18, 2026
Like most heroes, Moon Knight’s costumes are exceptionally revealing when it comes to his approach to heroics, with his all-white ensemble serving as a staple of the character. Not only does the white costume reflect his codename, but it also puts the cost of his fights on full display, whether it is his own blood or that of his foes.
Displaying the carnage of his battles so openly is a brilliant intimidation tactic, and as many Moon Knight fans know, each time the hero changes or upgrades his costume, it often signals the start of a new era. With that in mind, Marc being stripped of his shirt in the preview reads as particularly brutal.
This shift suggests that Moon Knight may be on the verge of another brutal era. The main cover by Paulo Siqueira and the variant cover by Kaare Andrews further hint at what is to come, especially given the tattered state of the costume. Adding to that sense of escalation is the return of the villain Bushman, and the synopsis outright describes Marc lashing out like a "wounded like a wild animal in a trap," confirming a significant turning point in Moon Knight’s narrative this spring.
Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 releases on March 18, 2026, from Marvel Comics!
