Miranda Kerr was a vision in black as she attended the official launch of her Snap Inc. founder husband Evan Spiegel's new project, SPECS augmented reality glasses, in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The Australian supermodel, 43, stunned in a designer outfit worth around $13K, sporting an elegant midi singlet dress by Alaïa worth $7,800 and $1,840 Saint Laurent heels.

Miranda completed her elegant look with a sassy leopard-print handbag by Dior, worth around $3,500, two layered necklaces, drop earrings and an array of diamond rings.

She wore her chestnut hair down in loose waves and enhanced her naturally-flawless complexion with dewy makeup complete with a slick of plum lipstick.

During the night, Miranda joined VIP guests to celebrate the official market arrival of Snap's augmented reality glasses, which retail for around $3,000.

During the event, Spiegel demonstrated how the glasses can provide real-time directions for the wearers, translate conversations, stream movies and even take calls.

In June, Miranda uploaded a photo of herself modelling the chunky glasses while praising her husband's hard work bringing his new creation to life.

'I've had a front-row seat watching @evanspiegel bring his vision for @SPECS to life. It's been incredible to see the passion, creativity, and dedication that he and the entire team have poured into this for over ten years,' she gushed in the caption.

'I'm so proud of everything he's accomplished and all the innovation, hard work, and heart behind this moment. Congratulations my love!!'

It comes after Evan revealed in an interview that he initially thought he had 'no chance' with Miranda after meeting her.

'The spark was definitely there, but I thought I had no chance. I was like, "I really don't want to get heartbroken here,"' the tech entrepreneur told the Tiger Sisters podcast earlier this year.

He added that he initially sent her a message to introduce himself - and had to wait a month for her to respond.

'She messaged me and I was like, "Okay, maybe I really do have a chance". Our first date was at a yoga class. We are really going down memory lane here,' he added.

Evan said that Miranda helped him adjust to life in the public sphere, as she knew what to expect having spent so much of her life in it.

'One of the things that was so helpful was that she had grown up in the public eye from a young age. So, she was so used to the pressure, scrutiny and everything that goes along with that,' he said.

'It was so incredible to see her grace and poise in all these wild public situations.'

Previously speaking to Stellar magazine, Miranda said that she and Evan 'balance and learn' from each other.

'I learn from him, he learns from me. We really do balance each other. We’ve been together for years and he's my favourite person,' she said.

Miranda went on to reveal something that had been very important in their relationship.

'He's such a family man. We prioritise each other and family time,' Miranda continued.

'That's why when you see us on the red carpet, everyone was like, "Wow, Miranda, you're out?" Honestly, Evan and I prefer to stay in. But every now and then, Mum and Dad have to get out, too.'

Miranda and Evan tied the knot in 2017 in an intimate wedding - with just 45 friends and family in attendance.

They share three sons together: Hart, eight, Myles, six, and Pierre, two.

Miranda also has a 15-year-old son, Flynn, from her previous marriage to actor Orlando Bloom.
