Bec Zacharia has been left devastated after failing to receive an invitation to Francesca Packer's star-studded three-day wedding, despite once sharing what she described as a close friendship with the billionaire heiress.

The Married At First Sight star opened up about the snub, telling Daily Mail that she wasn't shocked to miss out on the guest list but admitted she was saddened by how their friendship had faded over the years.

'We were friends back in the day and spent a lot of time together when I lived in London,' Bec said.

She went on to recall the generosity Francesca had shown her during their friendship.

'Chess was always so giving and had me over to stay at Ros and Kerry's house in Hyde Park all the time and even flew me to Coachella and paid for everything from London including VIP tickets and VIP glamping.'

Bec explained she first met Francesca while she was dating Bec's cousin, Sam.

'We met when she was dating my cousin Sam…'

The reality star said she lived in London between 2015 and 2022, during which time the pair became close.

She also shared another example of Francesca's generosity, claiming the socialite once secretly flew a man she had been seeing from Sydney to California so they could spend the famous music festival together.

'She even flew a guy from Sydney to Coachella I was seeing (kind of) to surprise me when I landed in Palm Springs and we spent all of Coachella together.'

Despite those memories, Bec admitted the friendship had naturally drifted.

'We lost touch about five years ago so not surprised I wasn't invited at all but am so happy for her that she found her happily ever after!!!!'

The comments come after Francesca celebrated her lavish wedding surrounded by family, close friends and a glittering guest list.

While Bec acknowledged they had not remained in contact for years, her candid admission offers a rare glimpse into the pair's once-close bond, which included luxury holidays, exclusive events and time spent together in London.

Is it ever justified to cut off old friends from big life events like weddings?

What's your view?

The Married At First Sight bride has remained in the spotlight since appearing on the hit Nine dating series, where she became one of the season's most talked about contestants.

Packer married her partner Robert Bates in an exclusive ceremony in Mallorca - with the bride donning an ethereal ice-blue gown for her 'something blue'.

The happy couple, who legally married in Australia in May, have been celebrating their nuptials at the stunning La Fortaleza estate on the Spanish island with a three-day event.

They exchanged vows during an evening service at the 17th-century fortress overlooking the Bay of Pollença, with family and close friends in attendance on Friday.

The billionaire heiress, 31, broke with tradition and wore a blue couture gown with a silvery sheen, cathedral-length veil and sweeping train.

She carried a bouquet of white flowers that contrasted against the off-the-shoulder cut dress.

Her husband wore a cream dinner jacket, standing out from the groomsmen who wore tailored teal dinner jackets that complemented the bridal party's colour palette.

The bridesmaids wore mismatched satin gowns in shades of teal, turquoise and sapphire blue inspired by the Mediterranean Sea.

Among them appeared to be Francesca's cousin, Indigo Packer, 17.

Proceedings began shortly after 5.30pm when Robert arrived via the family's superyacht Arctic P, a vessel owned by his mother-in-law, Gretel Packer.

Francesca had arrived privately at the venue before the celebrations.

Guests then arrived half an hour later for welcome drinks, including Francesca's uncle James Packer, accompanied by his fiancée Kylie Lim.

Close Packer family friend and television personality Lizzie Cundy was also spotted after joining James Packer aboard his $285million superyacht on the Spanish island earlier this week.

Francesca was walked down the aisle by a silver-haired gentleman believed to be her father, English financier Nick Barham.

Francesca and Robert exchanged vows from approximately 7pm on a grand stone terrace framed by centuries-old columns, with the Mediterranean as their backdrop.
