EXCLUSIVE: Mark Korshak has joined the recently launched production and finance company Giovanni Entertainment in the newly created role of Chief Media Officer.
Korshak joins following four years as CEO of Artists Road, a joint venture between Spyglass Media Group, Propagate Content, Artists First and Off-Road Productions, where he led development, production, and sales strategy through October 2024.
In his new role, the exec will oversee a growing film slate for Giovanni, covering development, production, co-financing and sales strategy as the company builds out its content studio. Productions he’s overseeing include Ramin Bahrani’s romantic thriller Vegas: A Love Story, a project we first reported on starring Maika Monroe, Brandon Sklenar, Paul Dano and Michael Shannon; the survival thriller In Tandem starring Emile Hirsch and Benjamin Norris; and the drama That One Beautiful Day starring Oscar winner Mira Sorvino. With a number of films in active development and in discussion for co-productions, he is also spearheading the push into vertical microdramas.
Based in L.A., Korshak reports to CEO Giovanni James Guidotti, working from Giovanni’s offices on The Lot at Formosa.

During his time in leadership at Artists Road, Korshak oversaw comedies including Incoming, starring Mason Thames and Bobby Cannavale, which became a #1 film globally on Netflix. Prior to that, he co-founded Off the Dock, the creator content studio from Lakeshore Entertainment, where he produced viral content and features including the digital mockumentary Internet Famous, built social media campaigns, and bridged influencer talent with premium distribution. The veteran exec and producer has also worked on unscripted projects like The Voice, premium scripted series such as Heathers, and global franchises including Underworld, in addition to building an AI-based alarm clock app called Snews.
