Lindsay Lohan shared rare family photos of her husband Bader Shammas and their son Luai to kick off the weekend.

On Friday, the 40-year-old actress took to Instagram to share snippets of her recent excursions with her financier husband, 39, and their three-year-old toddler son.

She shared a series of photos and short clips from what appeared to be a recent family hike and captioned the photo with colorful leaf emojis.

Her post comes just weeks after she enjoyed a European vacation with her family over the summer.

In the cover picture, she was bundled up in cozy athleisure and was a doting mother as she held hands with their son, who wore a coordinating outfit with a puffer vest to match.

Lohan's husband walked beside them and his outfit also complemented the Freaky Friday star's look too.

During their walk through an idyllic park, the trio enjoyed a stroll underneath a waterfall, as evidenced by a short clip Lohan took of the view from underneath the water.

The former child star also posted a selfie she took of herself to show off her casual outfit and her content smile at one point during their family excursion.

The couple and their son also enjoyed time playing in the leaves as the Mean Girls alum shared a sweet, candid snapshot of Luai running through the grass and stepping on the colorful leaves during their outing.

After their day at the park, Lohan appeared to have a fitting and shared a barefaced selfie from a clothes-ridden room.

She rounded out her post with a cute snapshot of her husband and their son holding hands and a clip of sunshine and the sky peeking out from behind the trees with autumn leaves.

Lohan has been married to Shammas since April 2022.

In addition to spending time with her husband and son and sharing snippets from their recent family affairs, she reunited with her parents and siblings to mark her 40th birthday.

While reflecting on the past decade, she said she learned about 'the value of time. That time is precious, and sometimes we forget time goes by so quickly that we should really enjoy every moment to its fullest.'

She told People that she learned to appreciate her family and the time spent with them.

Lohan previously explained that while she's a 'very positive person,' she's also learned to temper her enthusiasm.

The actress admits that she's learned an important life lesson thanks to her husband.

The Parent Trap star told People: 'I'm a very positive person so I always expect everything to go the way it's supposed to go.

'My husband has taught me, "You have to be prepared for other things, so you don't get disappointed. If this doesn't go that way, then it's okay."'

Lohan added: 'And that's really important to me because I never really understood the value of that.

'You are your own vessel. If you don't nurture yourself, anything can distract you in a second. Anything can take a turn.'
