Lana Del Rey defends her 17-month marriage to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in her new single White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter.

The 40-year-old songstress and the divorced father-of-three - turning 51 next month - appeared to shoot the entire four-minute video at his $273,000 five-room house in Des Allemands that he built from the ground up in 2021.

'I know you wish you had a man like him, it's such a bummer,' Del Rey (born Elizabeth Grant) sang.

'I love my daddy, of course we're still together.'

The 11-time Grammy nominee seems intent on 'cooking for my husband' even though it's 'strange' for her as 'I imagine you do know how absolutely bad I'm with an oven.'

At one point, Del Rey kneels down and sticks her head and arms inside the oven to further illustrate her lack of domestic ability.

The video ended with the Manhattan-born belter - who attended a private boarding school - excitedly dancing as 'magical' and 'absolutely wonderful' Dufrene took over cooking duties on his trusty grill.

'When I met him, like an arrow / Like a bird in the heart, like a sparrow,' Del Rey sang.

'In the dark (Snap), snap, crackle, pop, tch / We're a match, he's just in my bone marrow.'

After the music ended, the retired US Marine could be heard laughing while filming his snow-covered bride, calling her 'cute' and she replied: 'Thanks gator, I loves you!'

'We made the video like just ourselves,' Del Rey revealed on February 7 via Instastory.

'But still, it takes hours and hours of editing and downloading and uploading and all that.'

The self-described 'anti-feminist' co-wrote her new 'favorite song' with Dufrene, her brother-in-law Jason Pickens and her sister Caroline 'Chuck' Grant while Jack Antonoff co-produced it.

Del Rey previously released two other tracks - Bluebird and Henry, Come On - off her upcoming 10th studio album and first country record, Stove, which is said to be released on May 22.

'I know, you're asking about the record. But honestly, soon, because vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks,' the Golden Globe-nominated songwriter said.

'It could be give or take a bit less than that.'

'Like many people who work with large, dangerous beasts, Jeremy has a calm, strong presence,' the brunette bombshell told W Magazine last August.

'When we met, I realized pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table.'

Del Rey added that Dufrene reassured her from the start: 'I work with alligators. I have tough skin.'

The 57.5 singer continued: 'Jeremy is the most impactful person in my life. He's quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time.'
