Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been making the rounds again recently, with interviews for their upcoming projects and more than a few surprises for fans of the series. While we were already treated to the drop of a brand-new, massive Deliverance 2 artbook just a month ago, their latest release is something that will come as a massive surprise for players.

Originally posted to the official Warhorse Studios YouTube account, there's a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 release that will turn some heads. Despite offering plenty of jokes over the absurdity of the product and the concept as a whole, the trailer isn't just a belated April Fool's joke, as you really can buy it for yourself. If you know them well, this is the exact sort of release you can expect from Warhorse Studios.

The game studio has recently partnered with the Czech fragrance company Kintsugi Perfumes to bring you a medieval-themed cologne that promises to smell far better than the average medieval peasant.

As if a game studio collaborating with a perfume company wasn't shocking enough on its own, Warhorse Studios paired the announcement with a comedic trailer starring the actor Luke Dale, who plays Kingdom Come's Lord Hans.

With two options available in the form of a 50 ml bottle and a 2 ml sample for roughly $180 and $10 USD each, you too can smell like the sharpest baron of the nation with the limited-edition partnership. If you're wondering what exactly a Kingdom Come Deliverance-themed perfume would even smell like, the official Kintsugi Perfumes store has the following translated excerpt to describe it:

The scent opens with the crispy freshness of an apple and fresh herbs that refer to the landscape and the stories you walk through. Lavender, mint and chamomile develop in the heart, softened by the touch of rose and elderflower, with a trace of forest honey and wild sage. The base consists of incense, leather and dry papyrus, all wrapped in a smoky tone of birch. They are fragments of a world you already know well. — Kintsugi Perfumes

Unfortunately for many fans, the official Kingdom Come Deliverance perfume is only available for order in a select few European countries, although the studio has promised that they are already "working on UK/US shipping."

While you could buy three copies of Kingdom Come Deliverence 2 for the price of one bottle, it's not the most egregious price for a fancy perfume, especially one that boasts the same level of historical accuracy as the games.

Thankfully, each purchase of the perfume bottle also includes a 2 ml sample, allowing you to test it for yourself before committing to the full $180 bottle. If you don't enjoy the scent after trying it out, Kintsugi Perfumes will let you return the original, and refund the cost minus the price of the sample.

Even if attention for Warhorse has shifted over to the studios' rumored development of a similarly immersive Lord of the Rings RPG, it's clear that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 still has plenty to offer in the coming years, through more strange, but refreshing releases like this.
