Kevin Costner and ex-wife Christine Baumgartner had an awkward run-in on Tuesday, days after he was spotted with a much younger female companion.
The Yellowstone star, 71, and Baumgartner, 52, both attended their son Cayden's, 19, beach volleyball game in Santa Barbara.
The duo - who also share son Hayes, 17, and daughter Grace, 16 - were present on the sidelines, though they did not appear to interact at any point and were not pictured together.
Costner kept it casual cool in a white t-shirt and matching jeans as he joined his shirtless son on the beach.
The Oscar winner shielded his eyes with a pair of sunglasses and carried a large black backpack.
Meanwhile, his ex-wife donned a green t-shirt tucked into a white pair of jeans and a green baseball hat.

She argued that even if she won what she was asking, it would be 'less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle.'
'The amount needed to maintain the children's current lifestyle is $332,264,' she claimed in court documents.
He was ultimately ordered to pay Baumgartner $63,209 in monthly child support for their three children and $1.5 million to her personally.
