Kate Ferdinand has said that she's 'stopped enjoying things' after an 'indulgent' summer as she opened up on her body insecurities and chasing 'perfection'.
The former TOWIE star, 35, who is married to ex footballer Rio, 47, admitted that how she looks 'sometimes gets her down' as she spoke on her Blended podcast on Tuesday.
Chatting with her co-hosts Cilla Kessie and Nathalie Holmes-Lewis, Kate – who regularly posts her workouts to Instagram – said she 'wasn't skinny at the moment'.
Kate explained: 'I'm not skinny at the moment because I've had a good summer. The world we're living in makes us think that you have to be skinny or in perfect shape 24/7. Like and you're going out with your friends.
'You're having fun. I'm with my family. I'm having a lovely summer. By the way, I'm indulging. I'm eating. I'm still working out. I'm still mindful of what I eat but not 24/7.
'And then I am worrying about what I look like. Why am I not enjoying the moment?'
She later added: 'I think it's like this thing of not being fully content if you're not looking 100 per cent perfect.

'And I do have that like battle between the two of those in my head because at the end of the day, I've got a lovely life and I'm really happy.'
Kate has had a fun-filled summer and enjoyed a party trip to Ibiza with her husband Rio in August.
Along with friends, the pair headed to O Beach on one of the holiday days, as Kate joked that she was there with four 47-year-olds.
She happily flaunted her jaw-dropping curves in a pink Burberry bikini as the group lived it up at the famous beach club.
Kate looked amazing while striking a pose in her skimpy two-piece and matching sarong while joking around with the football legend.
Documenting their day out on Instagram, the couple looked as loved up as ever as they joined pals at the day club, where Afrobeat artist Burna Boy was performing.
Rio, who showcased his muscular arms in a white vest, even snapped a photo with the Nigerian singer, 35, who went shirtless for the occasion.
The couple were enjoying some time away together after she was accused of marrying Rio – who has an estimated net worth of £57million – for money.

Kate was 25 when she started dating Rio in 2016, and soon gave up her reality star life to devote herself to being a step mum. The couple married in 2019.
She was joined by Rio on a live Blended chat where the couple were asked by co-host Cilla Kessie what they think the public's perception of their relationship has been over the past decade.
'People think I'm a gold digger, I'm with him for money. I'm basically his nanny that he doesn't pay,' Kate admitted.
She added though that she feels secure enough in her marriage not to rise to the claims, insisting: 'I always say if I wanted to pick a rich man I could have picked a lot easier one without all the kids. If it was just a money thing, it's true though.'
'I'm here because I love you, there are great things and there are hard things.'
