June 1 is set to be a day to remember in the calendars of all avid Indiana Jones fans.

But the beloved film series continues to be culturally important and commands a devoted fanbase that will have a day to remember on June 1, 2026. According to Pluto TV's slate of new arrivals, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, franchise highlight Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will all be available to stream for free from June 1.

This is a decision that should give the movies traction for summer streaming marathons, as well as add an established franchise to the platform in order to bring more viewers to the table. It will also provide a precursor to the Indiana Jones deluxe hardcover comic book launch that is set for release on September 30.

The fact that the Indiana Jones series still commands attention from viewers all these years later is a testament to the epic and mythical quality of the movies and the character of Indiana Jones. Ford's portrayal of the devil-may-care archaeologist, with a cocksure grin and a penchant for devising terrible plans that accidentally work, turned Indiana Jones into a global icon.

While the final two installments, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and The Dial of Destiny, were not as warmly received, both of those movies had great elements to them. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull might not have been a favorite with critics, but it became the highest-grossing movie in the franchise, taking more than $700 million.

However, there is no question that the legacy of Indiana Jones remains enshrined in the original trilogy (in particular, Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade) and now fans will have the chance to revisit these '80s classics for free, from the comfort of their own home.

While it is true that Ford will never again play Indiana Jones — something the 83-year-old Hollywood legend has personally confirmed — that does not mean the character is dead, and there are other actors who could play Indiana Jones in the future. For now, though, fans will be content with revisiting the magic of the original movies when they arrive on Pluto.
