Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 was nothing short of a masterpiece, and season 4 is poised to be even better; not only will it feature some of the most iconic fights of the Culling Games arc, but it will also animate the long-awaited return of Gojo and the legendary “Nah, I’d win” scene as the series moves into its climax, and with all of that in mind, it will surely be more than worth the wait.
Another reason why Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 will be amazing is because of what it will do with Sukuna; while Sukuna was mostly pushed to the sidelines in season 3, season 4 will not only bring him back, but firmly establish him as the final villain as well, in addition to finally putting his long-awaited fight with Gojo in place. All of that will even come with the reveal of Sukuna’s strongest form, and for old and new fans alike, that’s something well worth getting excited about.
Why Sukuna’s Form In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Is His Strongest Form
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 will cover the shocking twist of Sukuna leaving Yuji’s body to possess Megumi, adding the versatility of the Ten Shadows technique to his already massive power. From there, Sukuna manages to take the Ten Shadows further than Megumi ever could, even taming Mahoraga, and between consuming four of his five missing fingers and using a special technique to make up for the last one, he’s essentially brought back to full power, all of which ultimately allowed him to defeat Gojo in one of the biggest and most extreme fights in the entire franchise.

After defeating Gojo, Sukuna did reincarnate into his original form, and while that gave him the benefit of four arms and two mouths, it’s clear that he never fully recovered from his fight with Gojo, not to mention how he lost the use of Ten Shadows. Granted, Sukuna’s final form was still stronger than everyone, but a case could be made that he was weaker than when he fought Gojo, so based purely on how their fights played out, Sukuna in Megumi’s body was stronger than his reincarnated form and the strongest version of Sukuna in the series.
Sukuna’s Strongest Form Will Make Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 A Masterpiece
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 will surely be a visual and narrative masterpiece, and Sukuna’s strongest form will play a big part in that. Every fight scene with Sukuna has featured some of the anime’s most gorgeous visuals and direction to date, especially Sukuna’s fight with Mahoraga, so if season 4 introduces an even more powerful version of Sukuna who also has Megumi’s cursed technique, then his fights are bound to look even more gorgeous than ever, and that will be great to see.
More than that, of course, is the story element to Sukuna’s transformation. Not only does Sukuna in Megumi’s body make it clear that the series is in its climax, but the sheer amount of suffering he inflicts upon both Yuji and Megumi through it makes Sukuna’s villainy more apparent than ever in the worst of ways. It’s easily one of the most dramatic turns in all of Jujutsu Kaisen, and it will be amazing to watch it play out in animation.

There’s no telling when Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 will come out, but if it’s going to introduce Sukuna’s strongest form and the amazing visual and narrative potential that will go along with it, then it should be well worth the wait.
