EXCLUSIVE: Filming has wrapped in Thailand on action-thriller Blood And Dust, starring Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) and Praya Lundberg (The White Lotus).
Adam Sherman (Vampires Of The Velvet Lounge) directs, wrote and produces the film, which also stars Timothy V. Murphy (The Abandons), Lochlyn Munro (Peacemaker), Tayme Thapthimthong (The White Lotus), Florence Faivre (The Expanse), and Akeira Hadden (Home Sweet Home: Rebirth).
The synopsis reads: “In Southeast Asia’s neon-soaked underworld, where a ruthless nightclub empire rules with violence and dirty money, a mercenary hitman (Meyers) decides to help the abused wife (Lundberg) of the club’s owner flee the country with her young daughter, alongside a mesmerizing dancer-assassin, triggering a ruthless manhunt that explodes across highways, through jungle backroads, and onto sun-bleached beaches—where freedom may only be possible through blood, knives, and gunfire.”
Producers are Adam Sherman, and Marcus Englefield and George Lee for Storyoscopic Films (Vampires of the Velvet Lounge), and Noémi Santo of Adam Sherman Film. Emmy nominee Nicholas Simon, EP on The White Lotus, and Chortip Thumvittayakul are co-producers on behalf of Indochina Productions (Send Help).
