To get John Wick's Dog as a sidekick, you'll need to rescue or pet it. However, as Season 3 has received an entirely new island, locating the dog can be extremely difficult.

Before you set off to find John Wick's Dog, make sure you own the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 battle pass, otherwise you won't be able to complete the quest.

Finding John Wick's Dog can be extremely difficult because it can spawn in a variety of locations. So far, we've found John Wick's Dog in the sewers beneath Battlewoods and inside the southern building at Sinister Strip. For more information on their exact locations, check out the sections below.

John Wick's Dog will not spawn in the same location every game, so there's no "best" location to go. Additionally, there is no icon for John Wick's Dog on the main map, but there is an icon on your minimap. So, you'll need to completely ditch the map and pay close attention to your minimap for an icon of a dog and a cage, which can be seen in the image below, or listen for a dog barking.

John Wick's Dog location in Battlewoods

John Wick's Dog can spawn in the sewers beneath Battlewoods. The easiest way to enter the sewers is to jump into the river beside Battlewoods, and look for an opening in the wall. One opening can be found on the eastern wall, and another can be found to the north. There's an opening to the south as well, but instead of approaching from the water, you'll need to look for the opening to the east of the Golden Reel movie theater.

John Wick's Dog location in Sinister Strip

John Wick's Dog has a chance to spawn in the southern building at the Sinister Strip. The building itself is just south of the "Sinister Strip" POI name on the map, and it's decked out with Dark Voyager statues. Head inside the lobby to find John Wick's Dog either locked in the cage or chilling outside.

How to rescue or pet John Wick's Dog in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

If you find John Wick's Dog first, they'll be locked inside a cage, and they'll be guarded by security. Defeat them and the next batch of security guards, and then open the cage to rescue the dog. After you rescue them, you'll receive full health and shields, as well as a mythic 9mm Baba Yaga pistol.

If they've already been rescued, you're free to pet them! Doing so will fully restore your health and shields.
