Jessica Biel Shares Glimpse Into Her, Justin Timberlake's Life in Montana

Jessica Biel prefers the moon in Big Sky Country.

The 44-year-old shared a rare glimpse into her personal life, giving fans a peek at her new moon ritual. Donning a cap emblazoned with “MT” and a cozy robe, Biel basked in the fading sunlight near her Montana home.

Alongside pictures of the moon, crystals and candles, the 7th Heaven alum—who shares kids sons Silas, 11, and Phineas, 5, with husband Justin Timberlake— wrote on Instagram on April 20, “Moon’s doing its thing.“

Biel and her family moved to Montana over a decade ago, choosing to raise their kids away from the spotlight. The Blade: Trinity star previously detailed how freeing it is to be away from the paparazzi.

"You get hammered in the East coast, you kinda get hammered on the West coast," Biel said in a May 2024 episode of Kelly Ripa's podcast Let's Talk Off Camera. "That's why we don't really live there anymore."

Despite her and Timberlake’s fame, she wanted her kids to have a sense of normalcy in their upbringing.

She continued, “I don't wanna expose them in a way until they have an ability to make that decision for themself."

And although the distance between Hollywood and Montana can throw off her work-life balance, Biel and the Can’t Stop the Feeling singer—whom she’s been married to for nearly 14 years—try to adjust their schedules so that one parent can be with the children at all times.

“Sometimes we do a good job,” she told InStyle in May 2025. “We try to have one of us working full time, only one.”

While Biel has found peace in Montana, she is still open to the hustle and bustle of the entertainment industry.

“I still have a lot of big goals,” she told InStyle. “I still have a lot more that I'm curious if I'm capable of doing, that I think could be really interesting and also add a whole other layer to the work I've done in the past.”
