Beyoncé's Rep Reveals Truth About Act III Fan Theory

Maybe you aren’t the visual, baby.

While fans have waited years for Beyoncé to release music videos for her 2022 album Renaissance, Barbie Ferreira may have just revealed the fate of the elusive footage.

“I, like, did a Beyoncé music video three and a half years ago,” Barbie explained on the May 1 podcast episode of In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele. “And it'll never come out. I finally have accepted it.”

While the release of the visuals is still up in the air, Barbie shared that she had filmed a video for “Thique,” directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, alongside Megan Thee Stallion, Carmen Electra, Shygirl, and Precious Lee.

“It was just all cool,” the 29-year-old told host Owen Thiele. “It was like thick b---hes, you know, thick baddies.”

Awestruck by the reveal, Owen insisted, “She has to put that out.” Although, he and the rest of the Beyhive may be disappointed, as the “Cuff It” singer’s only response to questions over the lost videos over the years has been, “You are the visual, baby!”

As such, Barbie was less optimistic, admitting, “I have been holding on hope until this very moment. I think this is when I accept that I'm not going to be in the Beyoncé music video.”

Although her cameo may never see the light of day, fans still took Barbie’s story as proof that the missing visuals do exist in some form.

“barbie do u even know how long we’ve been waiting for visuals,” one person wrote under the podcast’s YouTube video, “bc i think u confirmed they could be coming.”

Another noted on X, “This is CRAZY! Why is she holding out on these visuals?!??”

This has been an emotional rollercoaster of a week for the Crazy in Love artist’s fanbase, as her longtime publicist Yvette Noel-Schure recently shut down rumors about her highly-anticipated act III album.

In response to claims that Beyoncé’s new album was “100% done” and would be released this summer, Yvette said the information was “unequivocally false!!”
