Jessica Biel, 44, reveals her body did 'crazy things' after birthing her and Justin Timberlake's two sons

Jessica Biel is opening up about motherhood, over a decade after she welcomed her first child with husband Justin Timberlake.

As the 44-year-old actress makes her return to the silver screen, she revealed the reason behind her nine-year hiatus.

'After you have kids, your body does crazy things,' Biel explained to People. 'And you’re like, when is this body ever going to feel like mine again?'

She shares sons Silas, 11, and Phineas, six, with Timberlake, 45.

'I kind of feel like myself again after 11 years, which sounds crazy,' the mom of two shared.

Explaining her choice to star in the new film Matchbox: The Movie, she told the outlet her kids played a part in her decision-making.

In the Apple TV movie, Biel plays an EMT who is also an amateur race car driver.

She said about the action-heavy role: 'I really felt like I could trust myself to have the physical capabilities to do something like this again.

'It just was the perfect timing and felt like an opportunity that my kids would be proud of, that they could see. And that maybe they’d think I was kind of cool because, you know, cars and stuff.'

Biel and Timberlake's older son Silas even has a minor cameo in the project, with the proud mother teasing to E! News, 'He plays a small part in the movie at the very end, which is really cute.'

The former 7th Heaven star's sons gave her new movie their stamp of approval, she revealed.

'Their reviews are like, "Yeah, it was awesome. Obviously. It was cool,"' she told People.  

However, Silas took issue with one wardrobe detail – 'My son Silas was very concerned about the green dress. He was like, "What are you wearing, Mom? Yuck!"' Biel shared about one particular scene.

The action movie, which also stars John Cena, premiered on the streamer on Friday. 

It comes days after Biel and Timberlake celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

To mark the occasion, the singer and movie star each posted tributes to each other on social media.

For his part, the Sexy Back hitmaker uploaded a snapshot of them holding hands while on a stroll overseas.

He simply wrote, 'Happy anniversary ❤️,' and tagged his longtime wife. Biel hugged her husband from behind in another photo as he wrote, '14 down. Forever to go,' and added a hug emoji.

Timberlake also uploaded a photo of Biel with a Lumati face mask and gushed that she is 'my favorite person in every lifetime.' 

Meanwhile, the Candy actress took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of the former Mickey Mouse Club star skiing with their kids.

She called him 'the best dad' and added a gold medallion emoji with the number one. 

It comes more than two years after the former NSYNC star's June 2024 DWI arrest in The Hamptons.
