Ice Spice has apologised after her set at Wildlands Festival in Brisbane was cut to just five minutes.
The 25-year-old rapper played the festival in three different locations, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, but her New Year's Eve set was a disaster after her microphone was cut off at the start of her third song due to the festival's strict curfew.
Ice Spice was due onstage at 10.30pm for a 30-minute set, but she didn't end up coming out until 10:55pm, according to attendees.
She managed to perform Deli, Princess Diana, and part of In Ha Mood.
Addressing her lateness during her set at the Perth edition on Saturday, Ice Spice said: 'I'm sorry guys, surely y’all can forgive me.'
Referring to her Nicki Minaj collaboration Barbie World, she quipped: 'It was my birthday, and it takes a long time to look like a Barbie.'

The festival’s organisers explained that they needed to stick to timings to ensure they could lead the countdown to the New Year and wrap the event at 12.30pm.
In a comment posted to Instagram after facing a backlash from disgruntled festivalgoers, Wildlands said: “We understand that Ice Spice's delayed arrival caused some disappointment.
'Managing a stacked festival means that we have to be extremely firm with set times. We had a strict curfew of 12:30 and need to ensure that the final act went on stage on time, so everyone could enjoy the New Year’s Eve countdown.'
Journalist Brenton Larney was in attendance and told The Guardian: 'At 11.01pm – they gave her an extra minute – they cut the mic and you heard the collective sigh from the crowd. They’d been waiting for a while and they get two songs?
'It was just really disrespectful how she walked off, she was laughing, they tried to give her flowers for her birthday and she just shrugged them off.'
As Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, had only been allocated a 30-minute slot for her performance, hundreds of revellers stuck around, determined to make the most of the remaining five minutes.
Sporting a bright pink jacket and long, signature bright-orange wig, the international star reportedly performed two to three songs before her microphone was cut.

A stagehand was seen running over to the artist before the stage was quickly cleared.
Ice Spice threw her fans a peace sign and was booed from the stage as she marched from the stage.
Revellers paid up to $242 to attend the festival held at Brisbane Showground after some travelled six hours to see the rapper perform.
Dozens of attendees vented their anger online afterwards.
'She is getting paid to show up and perform, probably a lot of money, and she's late? Entitled,' one fumed.
Another added: 'Genuine question: does anyone actually like Ice Spice?'
A third commented: 'Can someone explain to me how/why artists are late for their sets at a festival? They're usually at the festival all day so like what makes them late?'
A fourth added: 'That's embarrassing for Ice Spice, that's what you get for arriving late to the job,' another said.
Attendees slammed the artist for being 'entitled' and 'disrespectful' of her fans and the event organisers
Other attendees commented festival organisers Untitled Group on how it handled the situation.
'Honestly iconic of the organisers to enforce the schedule and not just let her lateness make everything else run later,' one wrote.
Another added: 'She's disrespectful, so good on Wildlands.'
A third wrote: 'Them pulling the plug on her was iconic.'
Others called for Ice Spice to be dropped from upcoming Wildlands festivals in Perth and Adelaide this weekend
'Ice Spice gonna be late for every single set in Australia lmao take her off the line-up,' one said.
Another added: 'Drop her for Perth wildlands and give her spot to an Aussie artist.
A third wrote: 'Tell Ice Spice to go home, Perth doesn't need her.'
Organiser, Untitled Group - the same team behind the Beyond the Valley festival, had touted Wildlands as the 'very best audio and visual experience'.
Other artists included Australian DJ Fisher, electronic duo Chase & Status, and German DJ Marlon Hoffstadt.
It's understood Gaston was similarly late for her set at the Beyond the Valley festival in Victoria last Saturday.
Organisers were forced to quickly rearrange the schedule so she could perform.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Untitled Group and Ice Spice for comment.
