Oscars 2026: Hudson Williams Addresses Fans' Reaction to Hard Launching His Girlfriend
Hudson Williams and Katelyn Rose Larson have left the cottage.
Indeed, a month after the Heated Rivalry star hard-launched his romance with his longtime girlfriend on social media, the couple made their red carpet debut together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party March 15.
For the after-party, which followed the 98th Academy Awards at Dolby Theatre, Hudson swapped his Balenciaga suit for a sheer black top by the fashion brand complete with a train and black pants and BVLGARI jewlery.
Katelyn, for her part, complimented her partner’s look in a long-sleeved Bronx Banco lace black gown with a cutout over the stomach, as well as turquoise tear drop earrings. The tattoo artist topped off her look with a simple slicked back updo.
The couple’s red carpet debut at the Oscars 2026 festivities comes just over a month after Hudson shared a glimpse into their relationship in honor of Valentine’s Day.
Alongside several adorable photos of the duo, Hudson quipped in the Feb. 14 Instagram Story, “with me since my 2000 gold Mazda Protégé smoked and squealed and I had no job.”
And while the milestone sent fans of Heated Rivalry—which also stars Connor Storrie and François Arnaud—into a tizzy, Hudson admitted he isn’t giving the reaction much attention.
"Honestly, I didn't even check the DMs," Hudson told ETalk Canada on the Oscars red carpet March 15. “I'm sure they are probably the exact same. But just to see everyone kind of take her in in stride and all the lovely fans supporting her, even though she's not trying to be out there or be perceived. She's always like, 'I don't want to be perceived!’”
But the actor emphasized he is pleased with fans’ kindness toward his partner, adding, “They're still just being really warm from what I've been told, and that’s really nice.”

Like his girlfriend, Hudson is also still getting used to being perceived at such a large scale following the success of the Rachel Reid series adaptation.
“The fact that I’m invited to the Oscars is pretty crazy,” Hudson admitted to Zuri Hall during the Live from E!: Oscars red carpet, adding that he’s floored by “every single one” of his celebrity fans.
“I don’t want to shout one out because there’s just too many now,” he continued. “Also obnoxious to say, the fact that there’s not just one person it’s multiple. It feels really good because I’m proud of those people.”
