How to complete A Prime Specimen in ARC Raiders

A Prime Specimen is one of the many quests added to ARC Raiders as part of the new Headwinds update, and it’s a rather simple one to complete.

You obtain the quest from Shani in Speranza, who tells you about what needs to be done. Let’s look at how you can complete the tasks without a hassle in the new update.

ARC Raiders A Prime Specimen quest walkthrough

A Prime Specimen can be broken down into two major parts.

• Obtain two ARC Powercells
• Interact with any ARC Deforester

The first task is one of the easiest ones you can expect. You have to bring down two ARCs, and they can be any of your liking. Every ARC enemy rewards you with an ARC Powercell, and you have to find just two. You can complete the task on any map, but I recommend Blue Gate. The reason is simple: the second part of the quest needs us to travel to the Blue Gate map to find the ARC Deforester.

The ARC Deforester is a gigantic broken ARC that can be found at the location marked on the image above. Here, you’ll find the ARC Deforester. Make sure to have your Powercells. Interact with ARC Deforester panels. Interacting with the first will create a fire hazard, so be careful of that. Proceed to interact with the second panel, and it will complete the second task.

You can choose to loot the ARC Deforester as well if you want. Typically, you might find some unique rewards, but it all depends on your luck. You’ll also get more rewards from Shani upon completing the quest.
