2025 Golden Globes Recap: NSFW Jokes, Shocking Moments and Viral Memes!

In their house, Kate Hudson’s daughter is more than almost famous for her fashion sense.

At the 2025 Golden Globes, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star looked like a princess in a midnight blue gown by Carolina Herrera, which she paired with a blue statement necklace and a classic updo. And the 45-year-old revealed that the regal look is all thanks for her and fiancé Danny Fujikawa’s 6-year-old daughter, Rani Rose.

“My son is going to be 21 in two days, so I don’t know where he is,” Kate told Entertainment Tonight about her kids’ reaction to her look while on the red carpet at the Jan. 5 ceremony. “My other one is 13, so he’s locked himself in his bedroom. So, it really is Rani, who is picking apart everything and making sure I wore the right necklace.” (Click here to see the best dressed stars of the night).

“She’s all over it,” the Almost Famous alum, who is also mom to sons Ryder Robinson, 20, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham Bellamy, 13, with Matt Bellamy, continued. “She’s the girl.”

Kate couldn’t get enough of the style moment which she dubbed “power princess” as she gave her followers a closer look at it before hitting the carpet.

In a photoshoot shared on Instagram, the Glass Onion actress posed in the strapless froc that included details of embroidery and sequin embellishments. Alongside the pics she quipped on the Jan. 5 post, “Went for something subtle this Sunday.”

Rani—who Kate and Danny welcomed ahead of their engagement in 2021—is no stranger to showing off her fashion. In December, Kate gave the world a look at her and her little girl’s matching mommy-daughter street style during a visit to NYC.

In the snaps, Kate and Rani held hands as they took on the streets of New York City and rocked similar sherpa coats, sweaters, and shoes. Adding her own style, Rani opted for a pair of fuzzy blue earmuffs, while her mom stunned in a chic beanie.

The “Gonna Find Out” singer documented the moment in a Dec. 1 post writing, “Enter cold….”
