The case of Prime Video's most-watched TV show has been solved.
Prime Video has had a string of hits to start the year, with new shows like 56 Days and returning series like Cross making up some of the streaming service's 2026 most popular releases so far. Among those shows is Guy Ritchie's new crime series, Young Sherlock, which focuses on the most famous detective in fiction. Hero Fiennes Tiffin plays Sherlock.
The Sherlock Holmes series is based on the Andrew Lane's Young Sherlock Holmes books. Young Sherlock debuted on Prime Video on March 4, with all the show's eight episodes being dropped at once. The crime series became the most-watched show on the streaming service for an extended period. However, Young Sherlock has finally been dethroned in the streamer's charts.
According to FlixPatrol, Invincible is now Prime Video's most-watched TV show worldwide. The adult animated series is one of the streaming service's most popular series. Invincible debuted on Prime Video in 2021. The show is now back with its fourth season, which debuted its first three episodes on March 18. Invincible season 4 will air new episodes weekly until April 22.
After Invincible's debut, Young Sherlock is now the 2nd most-watched TV show on Prime Video globally. Both series leave behind quite a few popular Prime Video releases. On the streaming service's global chart, shows like Nicole Kidman's crime thriller Scarpetta, the returning hit Cross, the erotic thriller 56 Days, the sci-fi sensation Fallout, and more rank below Invincible and Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock.
Invincible is currently trending in 51 countries, which is quite impressive. That global domination includes the adult animated series ranking as high as the #1 show on Prime Video in 28 countries. Some of those nations include Australia, Brazil, Ireland, and many more. The returning superhero series is also a huge hit nationwide. Currently, Invincible is the most-watched TV show on Prime Video in the United States.
In the US, Invincible leaves behind shows like Deadloch, Young Sherlock, Scarpetta, and more. To dethrone Young Sherlock, which has a high 83% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, Prime Video needed another show that landed well with critics and the audience. That series is Invincible, as season 4 boasts a rare perfect 100% critics' score.

Amazon Prime Video's animated Invincible TV show is now on season 4. Here's every cast member who appears and which comic characters they play.
Overall, the animated series has a near-perfect 99% critics' score for its four seasons. Invincible is a long way from being done, as the Prime Video show still has dozens more issues from the Robert Kirkman comics left to adapt. Based on how season 4 has surpassed Young Sherlock with just three episodes, Invincible should dominate Prime Video's charts for quite some time.
