Leo uses his writing not only as a creative outlet but also to fund his lifestyle of travel and adventure. For four years, he has been hopping from country to country, meeting new people, eating new foods, and struggling to learn new languages.

A protest at a church in Minnesota has resulted in the arrest of four more people, including ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon and Minnesota journalist Georgia Fort. Lemon was taken in by the police while covering the Grammys in Los Angeles.

Per PBS, the arrest comes after Lemon's involvement in protests, with him documenting the action being taken at the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on January 18. Three protesters disrupted a service being performed by an ICE agent and pastor, David Easterwood, who heads up an ICE office in the area.

However, Lemon claims that, despite his often outspoken attitudes to the current state of U.S. immigration, he was only present in the capacity of a journalist. He was filming the event and took no active part in the disruptions to the service, which is considered a crime in the state. Despite his claims, he was arrested on Friday morning.

At present, it is unclear what charges he is facing due to the January 18 protests. This development also comes after a judge ruled against his arrest related to the protests. Three people, including civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong, were arrested on site for their organized event.

After the new arrests of the four journalists, the Attorney General spoke out via a post on X, seen below. The response has been, on the whole, very negative. People are questioning why members of the press are being taken into custody for reporting on protests against an organization that has openly killed civilians on the streets.

Lemon and his attorney stand by their claim that he was not involved with putting together the protest itself. He insists that he was there, broadcasting the event, purely for journalistic reasons. During his livestream on YouTube, he repeatedly states: "I'm not here as an activist. I'm here as a journalist."

Don Lemon is just another in a long list of prominent names throughout the U.S. to add their voice to the anti-ICE sentiment. The arrest of journalists and media representatives around the country seems to have done little to quell protests and is instead having the opposite effect.
