Elsa Pataky flaunted her very toned, trim pins on Friday as she returned home to the Byron Bay mansion she shares with husband Chris Hemsworth and their children.

The Spanish model and actress, 49, put on a leggy display in a pair of mini red shorts which matched her knit top as she was spotted getting out of her vehicle.

She kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of red-tinted glasses, adding to the monochrome look, and finished it off with white sneakers.

At one point, the Fast and Furious star appeared to be engrossed in something on her mobile phone as she carried a brown paper bag in hand.

The mother-of-three opted for a makeup-free look, sweeping her blonde tresses back into a loose, low ponytail.

As Hollywood hunk Chris, 42, promotes his latest film, Elsa is currently at home alone at their palatial $50 million Byron Bay residence.

The couple frequently spend time apart as their work commitments often see them jetting all around the world.

Chris most recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show alongside co-star Halle Berry as they discussed their new thriller Crime 101.

Chris described his new movie as 'sleek and sexy' with complex characters.

'It is a throwback to the 70s, 80s and 90s heist movies that we all love, with a contemporary feel,' he said.

'There are complex characters and a deep level of emotion, and it's entertaining, sleek, sexy, and visually pretty stunning. It was the best script I had read in years.'

Halle, 59, went on to sing the praises of her co-stars, which also include Barry Keoghan and Mark Ruffalo, saying she had 'never felt more seen' on a movie set.

Describing her character, Halle said she found similarities with her alter ego, explaining to Irish host Graham that she 'has a voice'.

'She stands up for all women in middle life. She has a voice. I think that has been a long time coming,' she said.

'Many women who are down the path of life like I am will feel very happy to be seen.'

Speaking about the working environment on set of Crime 101, Halle said: 'It was amazing.

'When you've being doing this for over 30 years and you say it is the all-time best, that's something.

'You hear about the horror stories that go on in the industry, but not at all here. I have never felt more seen, protected and stood up for as I did on this movie.'
