Ellie Goulding Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2
What are you waiting for? Congratulations are in order for Ellie Goulding.
Two months after the “Love Me Like You Do” singer shared she was pregnant with her second baby, and first with boyfriend Beau Minniear, she confirmed she welcomed a baby girl on March 6.
“On Friday I welcomed a healthy baby girl,” Ellie wrote in a March 10 Instagram Story. “We are totally obsessed with her.”
The Grammy nominee—who also shares Arthur, 4, with ex-husband Caspar Jopling—emphasized how beautiful it was to welcome her new baby girl ahead of International Women’s Day, surrounded by an “incredible female team” at the hospital.
“I will always be in awe of midwives,” Ellie continued. “This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.”
Ellie followed up her sweet update with a black-and-white photo of a cake that read, “Welcome baby sister.”
The 39-year-old’s update comes just two months after she confirmed her pregnancy by putting her baby bump on full display at the 2025 Fashion Awards Dec. 1 in London.
For the occasion, Ellie paired a black crop top with an open long leather coat allowing her bump to peek out. She finished off the look with black capri trousers and black heels.
While she has kept her love life largely out of the spotlight since her split from Caspar in 2024, she sparked romance rumors with actor Beau over the summer after he shared a snap of someone with blonde hair laying in a bed as part of a July 2025 photo dump. The "Love Me Like You Do" singer commented a red heart emoji on the post, with Beau responding with the same.
Ellie has previously shared insight into her motherhood journey, detailing how it "changed her to the core," with it being her utmost priority.
"It really has changed everything about my life," Ellie told Marie Claire in April 2022. "There have been so many chemical hormonal changes that I still can’t even compute. My brain is like a different brain and I'm still trying to figure that out."
As she put it, "I'm preoccupied with being a mother."

While Ellie did admit that motherhood wasn’t always on her radar before she had her first baby, she hasn't ever looked back.
"After we got married, people kept asking me when we were going to have kids and I would say, 'I don't know if I will. I really love my job. I love my freedom,'" she told Daily Mail in August 2021. "It has come really naturally to me. I've never felt any disconnect or confusion about what I'm doing."
