Ella Langley is putting the safety of her fans first.

The country star, who is currently on her Dandelion Tour, canceled her Oct. 9 show at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla., just hours before taking the stage due to security concerns.

“Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show,” Langley wrote in an Oct. 9 Instagram post. “This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team.”

The “Choosin’ Texas” singer emphasized that having to cancel the show was “not a decision that was made lightly.”

“I know how much time, travel, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am,” she continued. “I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way.”

As for concertgoers who purchased tickets, the BOK Center noted in a separate statement that “additional information and details regarding ticket refunds will be shared as soon as possible.”

Langley kicked off her 38-stop tour in May to support her second album of the same name. The concert series will conclude at the end of October.

While the “Be Her” artist didn’t address whether or not the Oct. 9 concert cancelation will impact further dates, she is scheduled to perform in Lubbock, Texas on Oct. 10, followed by stops in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Des Moines and Lincoln, before wrapping up her tour on Halloween in Saint Paul, Minn.

Throughout her tour, the “You Look Like You Love Me” singer has been chronicling her experiences on social media.

“Knoxville, Columbus & Moline,” Langley wrote alongside a carousel of concert photos in a Sept. 27 Instagram post. “Every single night of this tour is so special, I can’t thank y’all enough.”
