Elizabeth Hurley has revealed she's turning her boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus into a 'country gent' as she opened up about their 'great' romance.

The couple went public with their romance in April 2025, and Billy has since divided his time between Los Angeles and Elizabeth's countryside home in Hertfordshire.

Elizabeth spoke about their 'blended family' while sharing that Billy has been learning to cook so he can bring her breakfast on a tray in the morning.

The couple originally met in 2022 on the set of the movie Christmas in Paradise.

Speaking about how they've navigated their 'blended' families and long-distance relationship, Elizabeth said: 'Blended families and blended continents. It's actually great.

'I spent most of my working life in America, so I'm very easy in America.

Elizabeth Hurley has revealed she's turning her boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus in a 'country gent' as she opened about their 'great' romance on This Morning on Wednesday

'Billy hadn't really been to England much, apart from short tours but he spent months on end in England, in the country. He loves it too.'

Asked if she is turning him into a country gent, she said on Wednesday's This Morning: 'Well, he's definitely a country boy.

'He can't cook or do anything like that, so he's trying to learn because he wants to be able to bring me a tray, for breakfast or something, but that hasn't happened yet.

'He claims, like all men, that he can barbecue but when I'm like, 'Well here it is', he goes, 'Oh well it's not gas'. Some of us use wood and charcoal. Oh no, no, no, no.'

'He wants to be more active and he did help me pick some apples. [The orchard] is neglected. It's just a lot of sad trees.

'I picked 26 crates… Billy did help, he did a little bit.'

Elizabeth appeared on the ITV show to speak about her 30 years of working with the Breast Cancer Foundation, and reflected on meeting other women and famous figures who have been affected by the disease.

She said: 'I think it's impacted my life enormously because people talk to me about their own issues with breast cancer, whether it's themselves, or their mothers or their sisters or their work colleagues, or their dads, or their daughters.

'I've met so many people and every year I seem to meet more, and even though it's one in seven women in the UK who are diagnosed, I seem to know more than that. And it's very frightening, it's frightening for everybody.

'I'm very proud that the Estee Lauder companies have just donated £15million to the Breast Cancer Foundation, particularly to study breast cancer in younger women and why they're getting it, what kind of cancers they are, what are the best treatments, how can we look to improve their chances and how to give younger women hope, because it's just so frightening for them, that this is a real possibility for them.'

Elizabeth also reflected on her idyllic summer with longtime pal Joan Collins in St Tropez, revealing they spent much of the break 'reading, eating and chit-chatting'.

'Joan is one of my favourite people in the whole world, I adore her, I spent quite lot of time with her in the summer this year, and she of course lost her sister Jackie Collins to breast cancer,' she said.

'Like me, we both like lying around, Joan almost reads more than anybody I've ever met. She reads every newspaper, she's on her iPad the whole time, she reads every book that comes out, every biography that comes out, watches everything.

'She's incredibly well informed, so you always have to be on your toes when you're around Joan, but we do a lot of flopping around in kaftans, eating, reading, chitter chatting and then going out for a few glamorous lunches and dinners.'

Joan herself was also a guest on This Morning later that day, and touched on her relaxing summer with her pal.

She said: 'It was very hot, and we spent a lot of time in the pool, and I met her boyfriend, Billy Ray, who is madly in love with her.

'She's a great girl, I played her mother a couple of times in The Royals, and that was great fun. She's really one of the nicest people and definitely one of the nicest actresses to work with, very giving.'

Elizabeth recently gave an insight into her long-distance romance with Billy.

'We're very happy together. We're really enjoying trying to get this balance between America and the UK,' she told E! News.

The actress shared that Billy, who is the father of singer Miley Cyrus, 33, has been based in Tennessee for the past 35 years, noting, 'But the good thing is that he's very country where he is in Tennessee.'

She added, 'I'm very country where I am. And that's a really important thing in our relationship that neither of us want to be out and about.'

The star went on to say that the couple's happy place is 'being at home in the country and snuggling up and doing a lot of things with nature' and they 'very rarely' go out.
