Damian Hurley has shared a moving tribute to the man who almost became his stepdad.
The son of supermodel Elizabeth Hurley posted a series of photos, some never previously seen, on Instagram this week to mark what would have been Shane Warne's 57th birthday.
In the images, the late cricketer cuddled up to a young Damian and his mum, to whom he was once engaged.
Other images showed Damian spending time with Shane's three kids, Jackson, Brooke and Summer, when they were all still little.
The carousel also depicted a lighter side to the athlete, who was shown hamming it up for the camera while wearing a purple wig.
'Happy heavenly birthday, SW,' Damian, 24, captioned the set of sweet photos.

The British actress and model, 61, began dating the late cricketing legend in 2010 before getting engaged a year later.
While the couple split in 2013, they remained close friends.
Damian also had a close relationship with Shane, and stayed friendly with him throughout his life despite his split from his mum.
Warne said of his romance with Hurley in 2018: 'Who knows what the future holds. There's a difference between in love with someone and loving someone.
'I'll always love Elizabeth but I don't think we'll ever get back together.'

He continued: 'When we were together we both had a great time. Unfortunately it didn't work out.
'It wasn't something that she or I did wrong, it just fizzled out. We're still great friends, we still stay in touch, we're good for each other and our kids get along great.'
Shane additionally once told the Mirror: 'I was more in love with Elizabeth than I'd realised I could be. I miss the love we had.
'My years with Elizabeth were the happiest of my life.'
Damian was born in 2002 to Elizabeth and her late ex-boyfriend, American multi-millionaire businessman Steve Bing, who died in 2020.
Shane passed away on March 4, 2022.
The legendary Australian leg-spinner died from a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand, at the age of 52.
