Danny Jones' wife Georgia whisks him off for a 40th birthday trip in the sunshine with his McFly bandmates a year on from their marriage woes

Danny Jones' wife Georgia whisked him away for a 40th birthday trip in the sunshine on Thursday with his McFly bandmates. 

A year on from their marriage woes, the couple appear to be stronger than ever after they hit the headlines back in February 2025 after he was caught in a compromising clinch with his I'm A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins, 34, at a BRITs afterparty. 

The singer, who has been married to Georgia for 11 years, rang in his birthday this week with his family and bandmate Dougie Jones. 

Giving an insight into their trip on Instagram, the group headed to the beach after touching down in the mystery location. 

In one sweet photo, Dougie was pictured tending to Danny and Georgia's son Cooper, seven, after he got sand in his eye. 

They enjoyed some games on the beach before rounding off their night with a BBQ back at their villa. 

Following the fallout from his kissing scandal, which reportedly saw Georgia temporarily move out of their marital home, it seems the couple are working hard on rebuilding their marriage. 

Reports last year had claimed that Danny had shared a drunken kiss with I'm A Celebrity co-star Maura at a Brit Awards afterparty in March, with the pair continuing their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu Hotel bar. 

At the time, he publicly apologised to Georgia, saying he needed time to be with loved ones and 'deeply apologised' for the situation. 

He also assured fans that he and his family would handle matters privately.

Taking to Instagram he wrote a statement saying: 'Hello everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

'I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately.

'I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support. See you all soon, Danny.'

Since the kiss scandal, neither Danny nor Maura had attended any of the same events, but the I'm a Celebrity stars came face to face with each other at the National Television Awards in September.

The Love Island star and the McFly singer, went on stage together when their show I'm A Celebrity scooped the prize for Best Reality Competition. 

With hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly absent to collect the gong, the 2024 I'm A Celebrity cast took to the stage all together, with Danny giving the acceptance speech as the reigning champion, while Maura stood mere feet away. 

Despite the scandal, Danny and Georgia continued to quietly work on repairing their  marriage, with the pair enjoying a family holiday with their son Cooper. 

Danny and Georgia also shared some photos of each other on social media in the summer, after a reunion with Georgia's family.
