Would Alix Earle Ever Sign Up for The Bachelorette? She Says…
Get ready with Alix Earle…to make a big step.
Four months after the TikToker and Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios broke up, she revealed she was going on a first date with a mystery man.
“Not sure how to feel,” Alix admitted in an April 6 TikTok. “He was like, ‘I’ll pick you up, we can walk by the beach. We can get some food.’ I’m like, ‘Go on a walk?’ OK. I don’t know what to wear.”
Ultimately, Alix settled on a pair of small kitten heels to go along with her outfit, but she admitted she was also anxious about the car ride.
“We’re driving to Malibu,” the 25-year-old shared. “It’s an hour car ride there, so I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ Luckily though, I could talk to a wall.”
And while Alix wasn’t pressed about making small talk, she couldn’t help but admit she had a “nervous feeling” in her stomach. After all, this wasn’t a step she had been necessarily looking to take.
“I also have not been on a dating app or anything because I refuse,” Alix continued. “Someone did slide into my DMs, so I was like, ‘Sure.’ Honestly, he made it about skincare which is why I was like, ‘What? He needs a PR box?’”
But while Alix was detailing the big moment with her TikTok followers, she emphasized it wasn’t really serious enough to share with the world.
“I don’t need anybody to know this,” she said. “I don’t know how to explain it. I know it’s been four months since my breakup but it feels weird still. I’m like, ‘This feels wrong.’ I don’t like this feeling.”
Indeed, Alix has not hidden how hard getting over her two-year romance with Braxton has been for her.

“I feel like the weirdest thing with my breakup and just going through it and being alone is just, being alone,” Alix said in a Jan. 20 TikTok. “Obviously, I have friends, family, whatever. I feel like just having that stability of a male partner or even just someone to talk to or distract me is so weird.”
Because being single has felt so hard, though, Alix is determined to make this era last.
“I was a boyfriend hopper, and I said, ‘This year, I’m gonna be dedicated to being OK with being alone,’ but I don’t know why I can’t do it,” Alix added. “This is like, growth or something, but I’m sad.”
