Daniel MacPherson splits with model girlfriend Jess Dover after more than three years together

Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson has split with his model girlfriend Jessica Dover.

The pair, who met through mutual friends and dated for three years, quietly called time on their romance earlier this year.

Although neither party has issued a statement confirming their split, they have unfollowed each other on social media. 

Their last public appearance was in April at the Los Angeles premiere of MacPherson's latest movie, Beast, which co-stars Russell Crowe and Luke Hemsworth.

The Daily Mail has approached both parties for comment. 

MacPherson, 46, lives in Sydney but after becoming involved with the South Australian model he began spending significant time in her hometown of Adelaide, with the pair having to navigate the challenges of a long-distance relationship. 

In 2024, Dover opened up about the first time she met MacPherson.

She said it was almost love at first sight as the pair felt 'instant attraction' to one another.

Dover revealed the couple 'spoke all night' when they first met, with their relationship starting out very 'easy', the Advertiser reported.

'He's just so kind. Both having children [we were] looking for something that makes you feel really calm,' she told the publication.

She shares her son Sebastian, six, with ex-partner former Crow Jared Petrenko, while MacPherson shares son Austin, also six, with ex-wife Zoe Ventoura.

Her admission came after MacPherson opened up about his romance with former WAG and House Rules star Dover earlier this year, revealing they had been going strong for some time.

The former soap star revealed one of the things he loved most about his beautiful partner was how she was always there for him.

'There's lots of great stuff in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of those and we are a wonderful support to each other,' he told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

The pair went Instagram official in April 2023 after romance rumours began circulating when they were spotted at the races together.

Dover confirmed the news by sharing a series of photos on Instagram to mark her former partner's birthday, writing: 'Happy Birthday @danmacpherson. Adore you.'

Their romance came two years after he split from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020, following five years of marriage.

The former couple shared almost identically worded posts on Instagram at the time, revealing they had mutually decided to separate.
