Coleen Rooney has trolled her husband Wayne over his iconic 2012 tweet, in which he paid tribute to Whitney Houston after her death.
Wayne's message on the microblogging site became the subject of widespread mockery when he wrote: 'Whitney has passed away. RIP u will live on forever. Cant believe it. I wanna run to u. Really cant believe this @.'
In an exchange on Hits Radio, a smirking Coleen said to her husband: 'This is one of my favourites, this one [reads tweet] and then @ but you forgot to tag anyone.'
Despite the message frequently resurfacing, Wayne stood by his sentiment and detailed all the artists he enjoys – placing emphasis on pop divas.
Wayne said of his music taste and grief: 'I was just too hurt. Obviously I love Whitney Houston. I love Celine Dion. There's a few singers who, you know, don't you? Beyonce, I love. And then it was a bit of a shock so.'
Whitney passed away in February 2012 after she was found submerged in a bath in the Beverly Hilton Hotel before her death was later ruled as drowning and the 'effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use'.

While teasing his music taste and also admitting he is still saddened by the death, Wayne confessed he cannot be on Twitter for fear of what he could say.
Coleen said: 'People do say they do miss you on [Twitter]. You are still on there,' to which Wayne said: 'Yeah I am but if I am and I have to like stop myself because I'll end up getting in trouble.'
Coleen and Wayne have just released their Disney+ reality show The Real Rooneys.
The eagerly-anticipated ten-part series goes behind the scenes of one of Britain's most famous families as Coleen and Wayne, both 40, navigate their busy careers alongside parenting Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight.
A synopsis for the show reads: 'With unprecedented access, we follow the family through the highs and lows of married life, raising four lively boys, and supporting eldest son Kai as he pursues his own footballing dream.
'Along the way come surprising personal revelations, career-defining moments, lavish celebrations and unforgettable family holidays...
'From their Cheshire home to Barbados and the snowy Alps, this is Britain's most famous and private family as never seen before: warm, funny and authentic.'

After years as the family breadwinner thanks to being one of England's best footballers, Wayne has been eclipsed by Coleen's bumper financial year in 2025, with new figures showing her earnings soared to £2.4million.
Figures filed last week cover the period when Coleen became the breadwinner of the family, starring on I'm A Celebrity and creating her fashion range for Primark whilst Wayne was sacked from his manager role at Plymouth Argyle.
The figures for the company set up to handle Coleen's earnings, CWR 2021, reveal her finances for the 12 months up to September 2025 and show funds of £2,437,718.
That figure is a huge jump up from £580,779 in 2024.

Coleen, 40, finished runner-up during the 2024 series of I'm a Celeb, for which she was paid a reported £1.5million, becoming the highest paid star in the history of the show.
She later admitted that experiencing the 'love and support off the public' whilst competing on the ITV series convinced her to sign up for the family's newly released reality show.
Disney+ and Amazon had a bidding war for months to have the rights for the show, with Disney+ winning the race with the massive £10million fee.
The Real Rooneys was filmed last year and follows the family's change of dynamics as Coleen heads back to work.
Coleen is seen in the first episode struggling to decide if she should sign the multi-million-pound contract with Primark, and take the leap from home life with her four sons back into work.

With Wayne having just been sacked he explains: 'I think Coleen going back to work is good for her, rather than just being here and looking after the kids and me as well.
'And that's coincided with me not having a 9-5 job so I'm here with the kids.'
Wayne, who later took on a role on the Match of the Day commentary team, is filmed struggling to adapt to a life outside of football.
The ex-England star explains on the show that the couple have never considered taking on outside help: 'People ask why don't we have a nanny. "You can afford to have a nanny help you," but they're OUR kids.
'It's tough for anyone who has four kids but you want to bring them up. You want to be around them. It's tough but enjoyable.'
