Coleen Rooney says Wagatha Christie case 'opened a lot of doors', Wayne talks about 'getting the snip' and living in the doghouse after blazing row in full trailer for The Real Rooneys

The full trailer has been unveiled for The Real Rooneys, the Disney+ reality show centred around Coleen and Wayne Rooney and their four sons. 

The eagerly-anticipated 10-part series sees behind the scenes of one of Britain's most famous families as Coleen and Wayne, 40, navigate their busy careers alongside parenting Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight. 

In the teaser, Coleen sheds light on how her Wagatha Christie court case - in which she exposed fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy for leaking personal stories to the press in 2019 and won a high court defamation battle - 'opened a lot of doors for her career'. 

Wayne meanwhile is unveiled as the new pundit for Match Of The Day and discusses being able to spend more time with their kids - however when he is asked if he wants more children, while laughing he says: 'There was... then I had the snip'. 

There are however more tender moments in the clip, as Coleen is seen hitting out at Wayne while on holiday saying: 'This is supposed to be a family holiday. You can't keep doing what you're doing', before storming off a sunbed. 

Wayne then jokes: 'The doghouse manual? I'm on me third book' - a possible reference to his various scandals over the years. 

While Coleen is mainly tight-lipped about her Wagatha Christie case, she admitted that a combination of the scandal and her appearance on I'm A Celebrity in 2024 led to great career prospects, including launching her eponymous Primark range. 

As well as working on her clothing line in the clip, she is seen on set with Danny Dyer to film in a high-profile Paddy Power Games advert alongside Gemma Collins titled 'Come Out and Play,' which launched in October 2025.

Despite this, when asked about who is more famous between his mum and dad, Klay sheepishly states: 'My dad. My mum's only known because of my dad'. 

The series will see the family both at their Cheshire home and on holiday in their beloved Barbados, Disneyland Paris and the Alps. 

Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass are seen frequently causing havoc both in and out of the house, with Coleen being forced to shout at them in the car.  

Despite much discussion over their £20m home dubbed 'The Morrisons Mansion', due to the palatial house's likeness to a supermarket chain, Coleen says: 'This house is everything I've dreamed of - the problem is I have to share it with our four boys'.

She is seen crying to a pal and saying: 'It's hard juggling everything, like the house is not happy'. 

The original teaser for the show started with Wayne joking: 'This is my series,' to which Coleen hit back: 'Are you glad that I let you come on?' Keeping up the banter, Wayne replied: 'Oh, here we go. Get over it!'

A synopsis for the show reads: 'With unprecedented access, we follow the family through the highs and lows of married life, raising four lively boys, and supporting eldest son Kai as he pursues his own footballing dream.

'Along the way come surprising personal revelations, career-defining moments, lavish celebrations and unforgettable family holidays...

'From their Cheshire home to the beaches of Barbados and the snowy Alps, this is Britain's most famous and private family as never seen before: warm, funny and authentic.'

Kai is eligible for a professional contract at Manchester United next season after earning his first scholarship.

Earlier in March, the Man United starlet signed with super agent Triple S Sports as he took a huge step forwards in his youth career.

Disney+ and Amazon had a bidding war for months to have the rights for the show, with Disney+ winning the race with the massive £10million fee.

Sources close to the project say Coleen will be paid £5million with the remainder going to production company Lorton Entertainment, which made her previous show, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.
