Chloe Ormond has been frozen out by her extended family since going public about her rift with stepmother Pippa O’Connor – with her father Brian failing to even wish her a happy birthday, the Irish Mail on Sunday can reveal.
The influencer this week said she has not heard from her father, former presenter Brian Ormond, since she went public about her rift last week.
She told the MoS: ‘No, my dad hasn’t been in touch since my statement, including on my birthday. Apart from one of my cousins and my nana, no one else has reached out.’
Chloe also claims that she has been cut off online by the wider Ormond clan, with some family members removing her on Instagram, as well as friends of her father and stepmother.
Last month, the qualified Pilates instructor and content creator sent shockwaves through celebrity circles when she claimed that she had stayed silent for ‘almost 18 years’ while feeling excluded from the life Pippa shares with her father.
The influencer this week said she has not heard from her father, former presenter Brian Ormond, since she went public about her rift last week
In one of the most pointed lines of her statement, she wrote: ‘Family is not a brand aesthetic and kindness that ends behind closed doors is not kindness.’
She also claimed there was ‘not one photograph’ of her on display in her father’s Kildare home, and that she had been made to feel ‘like an inconvenience in my own father’s life’.
In a follow-up post, Chloe stressed that she had not spoken out for attention or sympathy, describing herself as a very private person. As reported in last week’s MoS, Pippa has denied Chloe’s allegations.
In a letter to the MoS via her solicitors, a firm owned by leading defamation lawyer Paul Tweed, Ms O’Connor asked for privacy and said that the allegations were ‘untrue’.
The letter said she ‘is entitled to respect for her private life, and she has no desire whatsoever to speak about extremely personal and sensitive issues’.
Chloe is Brian’s eldest child and only daughter, from his relationship with former partner Natara Byrne.

Clondalkin native Brian, who first found fame on RTÉ’s You’re A Star, married Pippa in 2011 and the couple have three sons together.
Those close to Chloe have insisted that going public about her family relationships was never about followers or social media clout.
‘She had tried and tried to be heard privately and she simply wasn’t being listened to,’ one source said.
