Joanne McNally has reflected on how 'gullible' she was in believing Richard E. Grant was a faithful on Celebrity Traitors.
The BBC show returned last week and comically followed the actor, 69, declare he was a traitor in front of his stunned faithfuls.
And while some stars like Joe Lycett led the charge at Friday's round table, Joanne, 43, continued to defend him.
Ahead of the first banishment, Joanne explained why she put so much trust into Richard in her podcast with Vogue Williams, My Therapist Ghosted Me.
She said: 'I'm defending him to the hilt. When I say I have never believed something more than he was the faithful, it was wild.
'He is the most unbelievable man. I believe all their lies. They look me in the eye and I believe their lies and then I go out and ride at dawn for them and I make a shell of myself.'

Vogue told her: 'I think it's very sweet, but like it could not be more obvious that he's a traitor because you've got nothing else to go on.
'If he'd have said this in like episode three or something as a joke, but because he said it in episode one, it's like, well, we we can just think of other people being traitors, but we don't actually know. At least this fella said something.'
But Joanne told Vogue it is different watching it on the TV compared to when you are immersed in the game yourself.
She said: 'Vogue, you have not been looked in the eye by Richard and told that he's a faithful. You haven't. You haven't, folk, I'm sorry you haven't. No, sorry.
You don't know that experience. You don't know how convincing he is. It turns out he's a really good actor and turns out I am the most gullible human alive and I'm a male apologist.'
Celebrity Traitors fans, meanwhile, were left furious over the 'ridiculous' cliffhanger ending on Friday night as the hit BBC show abruptly ended mid round table.
The tension rose between the celebrities at the first round table of the series as they debated whether Richard E Grant is a faithful or not, after the actor made the biggest slip-up in history by openly admitting he was a traitor.
And just as the celebrities were going back and forth on Richard's innocence, Claudia Winkleman announced: 'Players the time for talk is over,' and the second episode surprisingly ended.
Ahead of the first banishment, Joanne explained why she put so much trust into Richard in her podcast with Vogue Williams, My Therapist Ghosted Me.
Fans were left shocked by the 'massive cliffhanger' as viewers didn't even get the chance to see the stars write who they believe is a Traitor on their chalk boards and will now have to wait six days for the next episode.
One viewer wrote: 'Yeah not a fan of these cliffhanger endings on the traitors. Since when did they end the show before a round table vote? Ridiculous.'
Other fans added: 'The one thing about the traitors is it’s going to end on a cliffhanger every single time and make you shout at the tv because now we have to wait till next flipping thursday';
Elsewhere in the episode, former Today programme host Amol Rajan fell at the first hurdle when he was murdered by Richard and Maya Jama.
Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One on Thursday at 8pm.
