Trojan Security UK, a private security firm, shared a tribute to the 6'10 bodyguard which read: 'We would like to pay homage to an absolute legend in the Close Protection game. Big Mason. Gone too soon. Rest easy and fly high, Brother.'

Another friend of Haynes' shared a cryptic post on Instagram which read: 'The recent and tragic death of a friend has reminded me that tomorrow is never guaranteed and that life is to be lived to the fullest.'

The post was accompanied by a picture taken in Paris in 2015 of Haynes with Kris Jenner, 70, and a caption over the photograph read: 'RIP Big Mason.'

The British-born security personnel worked closely with Kris, as well as beauty mogul Kim and her younger sister Kendall.

One source close to the family tells the Daily Mail that Haynes worked closely with Hamilton up until his death.

Working his way up from the pub and club security scene, working as a bouncer to protecting some of the most high-profile people in the world. His career had taken him to 115 different countries, including 22 across Africa.

Haynes was working with Kim when, in October 2016, armed men disguised as police officers stormed Kim Kardashian's luxury Paris apartment, held her at gunpoint, tied her up, and locked her in the bathroom while stealing millions of dollars' worth of her jewellery.

Talking about the incident, Haynes said: 'I can't go into much detail about that; I was part of that team, and that incident was simply a set of unfortunate circumstances which led to something bad happening.'

Elsewhere, Haynes spoke highly of the Kardashian family.

'Trust builds. It's such a close relationship, and that's what makes it so unique,' he said in one interview.

Other high-profile clients include Beyoncé, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, David Beckham, and Sabrina Carpenter.

In 2018, he went on tour with Charlie Puth. He was later hired by ABBA in 2022.

In summer 2014, Haynes joined the cast of TOWIE, including Dan Osborne, James Argent, Ferne McCann, and Sam Faiers in Ibiza to film the 13th series.

In his early twenties, Haynes worked for the Ministry of Defence in London as head of 'in-house' security but decided to go back to University.

To fund his education, he set up a small security company in Guildford, working at pubs and clubs.

Later, he found a full-time job at Scorpion Security, the security company hired by Café De Paris in London.

Because there were a number of celebrity patrons, he said: 'I started doing what you might call "close protection", which became permanent contracts with several celebrities.

'After graduating from university, I realised my income as a bodyguard was going to be significantly more than that of, for example, a graphic designer, and switched to it full-time.'

Mason previously said he became a bodyguard to keep people 'safe' after enduring years of severe bullying as a child, which left him hospitalised.

In 2020, Mason established Bodyguards Against Bullying, a global organisation that connects victims with trained professionals who teach them self-defence and rebuild their confidence.

A colleague of Mason's posted on social media several years ago: 'Mason set up this initiative in early 2020. Mason, like many Ambassadors in this initiative, is a survivor of bullying.

'He was hospitalised as a child on different occasions due to the severity of attacks he faced. Mason was just physically different to other kids. He was tall and skinny. Mason's experiences in childhood are intrinsically linked, albeit initially outside of his awareness, with the decision to spend his life making sure that others are safe.'

Friends of the Haynes family have set up a GoFundMe page to help get his wife and children through the difficult times ahead.

The page reads: 'Since his passing, hundreds of messages have poured in from people whose lives Mason changed. Reading them, one thing becomes impossible to ignore.

'We have created this page to help Fay, Brooke, and Noah through the weeks and months ahead.

'The funds raised will ensure Mason gets the send-off he truly deserves - a celebration of a life that touched so many people. Beyond that, they will help ease some of the immediate financial pressures that inevitably follow such a sudden and devastating loss. Your support will give Fay and their family the time and space to grieve, heal, and begin rebuilding their lives, without Fay having to make impossible decisions that she could never have imagined she would have to face.'
