Britney Spears says 'God took my father's legs away' in bizarre post complaining about conservatorship

Britney Spears celebrated her sons' birthdays over the weekend in a long-winded and since-deleted post that appeared to take aim at her dad Jamie Spears.

The pop star, 44, reflected on the travel restrictions mandated by her parents throughout her conservatorship before wondering why 'god took my father's legs away.'

'But you all know me I've forgiven and been the bigger person always RIGHT. I wonder why god took my father's legs away?' wrote Spears, who previously slammed her father for forcing her to perform during her conservatorship.

However, Jamie has reportedly only had only his right leg amputated above the knee due to a severe bacterial infection.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Britney and Jamie Spears's representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.

'Did he take my name away and existence in MURICA HOME OF THE FREE !!' continued the blonde bombshell.

'Murica' happens to be a slang version of America that’s often used in a satirical or derogatory way to mock extreme patriotism, nationalism or stereotypical rural or Southern culture, according to Dictionary.com.

The Oops!…I Did It Again singer began her lengthy post by describing the accompanying photo, which showed her in a purple print bikini in what looked like a warm vacation spot and holding the hand of her eldest son, Sean, who was pushing her youngest son, Jayden, along with his hand.

'He’s pushing Jayden when I started to use my own feet not guided by anyone. For some reason as a baby he always did that, I thought it was cute…,' she began.

She went on to share that for 15 years she was 'never allowed to say my name in the land of the free and travel spontaneously,' and that her parents decided where and when she could travel.

Since her conservatorship ended in November 2021, she has made frequent jaunts to Cabo San Lucas and other coastal spots south of the border for holidays and birthdays.

'So I guess going to Mexico the last 5 years… Although my friends would say this place isn’t that great, I was always on cloud 9. I could feel my inner child 100 percent awaken and never felt so alive,' Spears recalled.

'My damn life… it's crazy these are just words but if people honestly knew the difference in my spiritual connection when I flew out of the country they would nod and understand..[sic]'

Spears ended her rambling message on a positive note, writing: ‘Ps… cus I can go wherever I want now, SO GRATEFUL!! Pss… was that our first conversation? Nice to meet u all!!’

The pop princess spent much of the weekend fawning over her boys, whose father is her ex-husband Kevin Federline. 

Sean Preston turns 21 on Monday, September 14, and Jayden James turned 20 on Saturday, September 12.

To mark her youngest child's birthday, she shared a heartfelt message in which she 'hoped to be the best mommy in the world.'

'Happy birthday to my handsome young boy oh dear lord we have this beautiful thing called life in front of us, it's such a beautiful delicate thing.

'I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!!!!'

In July, Jayden spoke out to slam conspiracy theories that the singer has been replaced by a clone.

Recording a livestream, Jayden said: 'I hop on TikTok and I see this one video that has 1.2 million likes, and the caption is like, "The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?" Like, bro, you can go to her page and see her right now.'

The model went on to brand the idea 'ridiculous' and said the clone theory is a strong example of how 'exaggerated and fake' rumors spread easily.

'People know how gullible people are, and they use that to their advantage. If it has a lot of likes, they [believe] it. They don't even research it. They're just, "Wow, yeah, it's crazy. I believe it though,"' Jayden said. 

While Spears has had periods of estrangement from her sons over the years, they have been rebuilding their relationship in recent times.

And the boys were thankful their mom was so supportive when they made their runway debut in the Vetements menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.

‘Oh my God, she was so nervous for us,' Jayden told Vogue when asked about what his mom thought. 'She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do.

'She wasn't there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times. It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there.'

But the Gimme More singer had every confidence in her sons.

'I feel like she knew we had it. She was like, "Yeah, you guys are my sons. You've got this."'

Jayden added: 'Right before we were about to walk out, I remember Preston and I just looking at each other and nodding our heads, because we weren't close enough to give each other a pep talk.

'I would've been really, really messed up if Preston wasn't doing it with me.'
