Brad Pitt visited Colorado on Monday after spending time at the US Open in New York with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon.
The 62-year-old actor was in town to promote his new survival movie Heart Of The Beast which opens later this month.
The star wore a denim jacket and matching jeans with a green-and-white striped shirt and red tie alongside beige boots while making the most of his time at The Ritz-Carlton in Avon.
The Oscar winner was joined by the film's director David Ayer as well as musician Stephen Wilson Jr for a screening of the movie as well as a conversation and a musical performance.
While giving a speech, Pitt told the audience a funny story about a fan encounter.

The star said when he was picking up his Postmates delivery at his front door, the driver said he knew him from somewhere. Pitt just nodded as he suspected the driver knew who he was.
But then the driver asked what his name was. Pitt waited a beat then said his name was Matt Damon before laughing about the prank.
Pitt and Damon have been friends for many years as they have worked together on the Ocean's 11 movies.
This comes after a Fox Sports commentator accidentally identified Damon as his pal Pitt live on air during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in July.
Damon was with his wife, Luciana Barroso, at the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19.
As cameras showed the couple in the crowd, Fox Sports announcer John Strong mistakenly announced, 'Brad Pitt is also among the fans here.'

The announcer quickly realized the mistake seconds later and corrected himself to say it was Damon, blaming the error on a bad glare on the broadcast monitors.
This comes after Netflix officially announced the title for Pitt's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood sequel.
The upcoming feature film, which will have a two-week Imax release around the world from November 25, is set to arrive on Netflix on December 23.
The streaming giant has confirmed the movie is titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, with Pitt reprising his role as the Hollywood stuntman.
Netflix teased: 'Brad Pitt returns to his Academy Award-winning role as Cliff Booth, only this time it's 1977 and it's a very different Hollywood.'

Quentin Tarantino, who directed 2019's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, has penned the script for the follow-up, which is set eight years after the original, with David Fincher at the helm.
The cast will also feature Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.
Tarantino previously explained that while he loves the story he has written, he wasn't interested in revisiting old characters when it came to making his 10th and final film.
Speaking on The Church of Tarantino podcast, he said: 'I love this script, but I'm still walking down the same ground I've already walked.
'It just kind of unenthused me. This last movie, I've got to not know what I'm doing again. I've got to be in uncharted territory.'
And Tarantino felt honored that David Fincher was keen to step up and direct Pitt in the title role.

He added: 'I think me and David Fincher are the two best directors. So the idea that David Fincher actually wants to adapt my work, to me, shows a level of seriousness towards my work that I think needs to be taken into account.'
Pitt recently spoke of reprising the role as stuntman Cliff in the 'fun' sequel for Netflix.
Speaking to Deadline at the premiere for his latest movie, F1, he said: 'This is something Quentin Tarantino wrote. It's an episode, not really a sequel, of the character from Once Upon a Time.
'He didn't want to direct it at this point, so our friend David Fincher stepped in. We're gonna start in July, it's gonna be really fun.'
The movie also sees a reunion between Pitt and Fincher, 62, who previously collaborated on acclaimed films Se7en, Fight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
In Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, fading actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his loyal stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) struggle to stay relevant in a rapidly changing movie industry.
As their fortunes shift, they cross paths with rising star Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) and the looming threat of the Manson Family.
