Billie Piper looked worlds away from herself on Monday as she showed off her new blonde hair do as she stepped out in Notting Hill, London.

The actress, 43, swapped her long red tresses for a chic blonde bob as she treated herself to cupcakes from a Primrose Hill Barkery.

While debuting her new look, Billie cut a casual figure in a grey roll neck jumper which she tucked into a pair of blue denim jeans

The Doctor Who star kept comfortable in a pair of black boots as she checked her phone and carried a boxed sweet treat.

Billie opted for minimal makeup as she was joined by seven-year-old daughter Tallulah, who was dressed in checked trousers and UGGs.

She wrapped her daughter's floral navy jumper around her neck as they stepped inside the family run cupcake shop Primrose Bakery.

The singer shares daughter Tallulah with partner Johnny Lloyd and is also mum to two sons Winston, 17, and Eugene, 24, whom she shares with ex-husband Laurence Fox.

Billie has recently transformed her auburn locks after celebrating her 43rd birthday in November last year.

She posed for photos with celebrity pals at the shindig, including Gemma Chan, Jenna Coleman, Richard Madden and Douglas Booth.

The critically-acclaimed star looked radiant with her flaming locks styled in an updo, a full fringe framing her face and glam makeup that accentuated a glamorous pout.

Billie has long been praised for her effortless beauty and ever-updated sense of fashion, having gone through several shifts in her looks and style over the decades.

She first shot to fame in 1998 at the tender age of 15 as a pop star, with her debut single Because We Want To.

The fresh-faced young idol captured the nation's hearts with a megawatt smile, sparkling eyes and reddish brown hair.

The following year, Billie tested out a vastly different look and donned very dark brown hair at the 1999 Brit Awards.

But it was in 2000 when she settled on what would become her signature blonde hair, which became ingrained in the nation's psyche when she later took on the iconic role of Rose Tyler in Doctor Who in 2005.

In 2005, Billie startled fans after she appeared at the National Television Awards with visibly plumper lips, leading to speculation that she had enhanced the look of her lips with aesthetic treatments.

However, a spokesman for the actress, then 23, denied the rumours and told The Standard at the time: 'I can categorically say that she has never had any surgery to enhance her lips.'

In more recent years, Billie has continued to play with her look with the use of make-up and fashion, serving everything from edgy rock glamour on nights out with her friends to giant couture bows on the red carpet.

While her pout has stayed largely consistent, Billie debuted a massive hair transformation in 2023, foregoing the blonde hair she maintained for nearly 20 years.

She returned to her redhead days but went even further when she took to red carpet at the 51st annual International Emmy Awards wearing dark brunette locks with an auburn edge.

In 2024, Billie attended The Fashion Awards 2024, held at The Royal Albert Hall, with significantly lighter red hair - harking back to her teenage days - and her lips appeared full but more naturally shaped.

At her recent birthday party, Billie stunned in a sheer black lace minidress and a matching choker.

But while her bold, edgy fashion choices have long been a part of her signature style, Billie previously spoke about feeling 'oversexualised' as a teenage pop star.

She told The Sunday Times Style Magazine about what she described as 'the oversexualised years', explaining how for a long time she wanted to hide her body in baggy clothing following the end of her pop career.

Billie, who struggled with an eating disorder aged 16, also described how she struggled following 'the oversexualised years' of her pop career.

'I think that's why, for so long, my desire to hide my body in baggy clothes took hold,' she explained.
