Baywatch continues to add original actors to its new Fox continuation series with the addition of Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard.

Bergin and Packard will play lifeguards Jack “J.D.”  Darius and April Giminski, respectively. JD and April were in Hobie’s (Stephen Amell) rookie class and have been close friends ever since. They’re great lifeguards who know this beach.

Bergin was a series lead in Seasons 8 to 11 in the original series and reprised his role in the Fox movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. Packard was a series regular in Seasons 8 and 9. In addition to Bergin and Packard, David Chokachi and Erika Eleniak are also bringing back their original characters.

On Baywatch, the wild child Hobie Buchannon (Amell) from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father Mitch (played by David Hasselhoff in the OG series). Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie (Jessica Belkin), the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad.

The cast also includes Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Brooks Nader as Selene, the sharp-tongued captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards.

The new Baywatch is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle with Nix (Burn NoticeThe Gifted) serving as showrunner and executive producer alongside executive producers McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. McG will direct the series premiere episode. Fox Entertainment Global holds all domestic distribution rights, and Fremantle manages all international sales.

Bergin is repped by The Chasin Agency. Packard is repped by Kim Dawson Agency.
