Thanks to a report from The Gamer, we know that more free content is coming to Baldur's Gate 3. If you're looking for an excuse for another playthrough, this might be the perfect time.
Thanks to a new content drop, we know that more mods have been officially added to the console editions of Baldur's Gate 3. While PC players have access to thousands of mods, console players are at the mercy of approval. Developer Larian does this in spurts, and the next batch made it this week.
Here are all the additions you can expect on console:
-
Easy Toggle Tutorial Chest - Adds the ability to summon and dismiss the tutorial chest with a passive toggle.

The biggest additions here are the new subclasses, including the Way of the Forge Monk, the Collee of Command Bard, and Hellcleaver Barbarian. We're also getting the Shadar-Kai Race, which adds more options for future playthroughs.
Even if you played Baldur's Gate 3 at launch and got your fill of it, it's worth cracking open now and then to see everything that's changed. All the updates from 1.0 through now have cumulatively added a ton to the game, and the next playthrough could be completely different, even with some similar choices.
That's why Baldur's Gate 3 will live on as one of the best RPGs of all time. For some, it's even one of the best games of all time, period.
