The Arc Raiders Flashpoint update release time is almost here. The third major update for Embark Studios' extraction shooter is bringing a lot of new content, like Shredders breaking out of Stella Montis and roaming into other maps, and the popular theory among fans is that the Bishop, a brand-new Arc enemy, will be added to Arc Raiders.
Here's when the Arc Raiders Flashpoint update will be released in your time zone, along with more details on what to expect.
Arc Raiders Flashpoint update release time in your time zone
The Arc Raiders Flashpoint update is coming on Tuesday, March 31, but Embark Studios has not officially stated what time the update will be released. Previous Arc Raiders updates have been released at approximately 4:30 a.m. EDT though, so we'd expect Flashpoint to come at the same time.
Here's how that looks in your time zone:
- 1:30 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- 4:30 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- 6:30 a.m. BRT for Brazil
- 9:30 a.m. BST for the United Kingdom
- 10:30 a.m. CEST for western Europe
- 5:30 p.m. JST for Japan
- 7:30 p.m. AEDT for the east coast of Australia
Daylight savings time is now in effect in the Northern Hemisphere, but all signs point towards that not affecting the release time. If it does, the update may come an hour later, and we'll update this as soon as there's official confirmation.
What to expect from the Arc Raiders Flashpoint update
As mentioned above, we know Shredders will be escaping Stella Montis, and they're expected to make their way to Blue Gate, as the tunnel connects the two maps. However, there are rumors they'll appear on other maps too, although that is yet to be confirmed.
The Bishop, a huge Arc foe that was seen in early trailers for the game, may be arriving too, if fan speculation is anything to go by. The laser seen in the teaser above lines up with what we've seen previously for this enemy, but the follow up post from the official Arc Raiders account tells us to "watch the sky." The problem with that is that the Bishop is a ground-based enemy, albeit a very tall one. Maybe we'll be getting two brand new enemies, to join the Comet and the Firefly from Shrouded Sky?
Alongside the new Arc threats, we can also expect more quests, and a new project for raiders to complete. Eagle-eyed fans have also spotted an electric guitar in a teaser image, which may mean another new instrument is coming to the game. There will also be a new map condition, indicated by a lightning bolt symbol on the official roadmap, and an update to Scrappy the rooster. April's update, Riven Tides, is when things ramp up though, as that will bring a whole new map, and a new "large Arc," so we're expecting something on par with — or even bigger than — the Matriarch.
