Apple Martin Reacts to Rumor That She Was Expelled From School for Bullying
Apple Martin is painting a sky full of truth.
Indeed, the eldest of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s two kids emphatically shut down an internet rumor that she was once expelled from school for bullying.
"Hi! I didn't wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand," Apple, 21, commented on a social media post, which she screenshotted and posted to Instagram Stories Feb. 16. "I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone."
"I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay!” she continued. “The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions. But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that.”
The model’s comments come one year after she received online backlash for giving off what the internet deemed “mean girl” energy at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in a viral video with fellow debutante Aliénor Loppin de Montmort, where Apple can be seen jumping into frame and posing confidently.
Though people read into her body language, she cheekily addressed the situation with a simple lip sync.
“I don’t know how anyone has a problem with us. We are such a delight,” Apple and her two friends mouthed to a voice over in a December 2024 TikTok video posted by Ava Crox. “We are two of the funniest girls and I know us, like offline. When I tell you, there aren’t two more caring, charitable, generous, kind…”
And Aliénor echoed the sentiment.

“[Apple’s] genuinely the nicest girl ever,” she told People in December 2024. “She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting.”
“She was the nicest girl ever,” she continued, “towards not only me but all the debs!"
But her public perception isn’t the only facet of her life that Apple has addressed recently. After all, the Vanderbilt University senior also revealed the cosmetic enhancement she’s has done.
"Time to come clean," Apple said in the Feb. 12 episode of Vogue's Beauty Secrets series. “I got lip filler one time. I think I got it when I was 18. I just thought it was too big."

"But everyone seems to think that I have crazy lip filler," she continued, noting that these days, "I just pout my lips a lot and, I put on a lot of lip liner."
Apple also recalled attending her first red carpet alongside her mom and brother Moses Martin, 19, for Gwyneth's latest movie Marty Supreme, where she donned a dress her mom had worn 30 years earlier.
"That was a moment where everyone was like, 'You're your mom's twin,'" she said. "And I was like, 'Thank you. I'll take it.' Are you kidding?"
