Adrian Grenier responded to the rumors that a long-awaited Entourage reboot is finally in the making.
The 49-year-old actor expressed excitement about working on the satirical comedy drama again but said he felt 'torn' about a remake of an already 'iconic' show.
This comes shortly after the actor, who starred in The Devil Wears Prada, opened up about being snubbed from the forthcoming sequel.
'I would love to do the show again, obviously,' he told Us Weekly in an article published on Friday.
'You know, I'm torn because it's an iconic show that defined an era,' he continued. 'I don't know how we would do that today, because we'd have to address a lot of things that are current.'
'But that could... that's an opportunity as well,' he continued. 'I think it can't be the same thing, because it was so tied to that time.

Grenier added: 'It's a time and a moment and a vibe that I don't think you can replicate.'
Entourage debuted on HBO in 2004 and ran for eight seasons until its finale in 2011.
The show starred Grenier as young movie star Vincent Chase and his friends Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven), and Johnny 'Drama' Chase (Kevin Dillon).
The show also featured Mark Wahlberg as himself and was based on the actor's real-life rise to fame.
During its eight-season run, Entourage won multiple Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
'The characters, I think, are still relevant, and I think the way they would deal with modernity is interesting as well,' Grenier said.
'You know, Johnny Drama (Dillon) as an avatar could be funny, you know? As an AI. There's a lot of room for fun within those characters.'
He continued, adding that he was excited about the idea of reboot and the possibility of reprising his role.

'Yeah, I want to do it. Are you gonna start a movement? Are we gonna get the fans to demand it? If the fans demand it, we have to do it. That's just how it works.'
Grenier added that there are additional factors to consider for the reboot to happen.
'I think we need the script and we need the money,' he explained. 'That's how it works. That's just the biz. Maybe we ask AI.'
On the same day, Grenier also broke his silence after being left out of the iconic 2006 film's follow-up film with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep.
He lamented to Page Six about not being asked to reprise his role as the boyfriend of Hathaway's character Andrea 'Andy' Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada 2 and admitted it was a 'disappointment.'
As seen in the recently released trailer for the upcoming sequel , Hathaway's Andy has a newfound love interest, and it's no longer Grenier's character Nate Cooper.

Grenier admitted that he was 'disappointed' that he wasn't asked to return but said he remained optimistic he would 'obviously' get a callback in the future for a spinoff based on his character.
He also said that he believed that he 'didn't get the call' to return for the sequel because of the 'backlash' towards his character's actions in the original film.
'We're all fans of the movie, whether or not we're in it,' he said. 'Obviously, it was a disappointment that I didn't get the call to be in the sequel, but I also understand there's some backlash with Nate, the character, so that might have something to do with it.'
'But I think that just leaves room for a spinoff,' he added.
'Either way, it's a disappointment. Either way, it leaves room for a beautiful spinoff in which Nate has his own film.'
